Para pam patayan na

yeah! we've found metal to be best for humbuckers, gives clarity and that added chug chug. it is also great for adding woodiness to active pickups.

sure can! BAMF scalarized his fender stage and it just throws the sound into the atmosphere. first time i got a complaint from a neighbor in history, dude. He also had a yamaha jx-25 that he scalarized, got rid of the boxiness.

you could experiment, but if you really want brightness, i suggest you mess with your eq settings

Just in the same way that the same pickups will sound differently on different guitars.

As you know, tone is a composite of many things: wood, workmanship, hardware, pickups, strings etc.

A similar core scalarizer will sound different on different guitars as well because these factors can never be replicated on another guitar. In effect, it's also like saying that each guitar is really unique and tonally different from the next. Yep...even on anal-quality-controlled japanese guitars.

Wee !!! Got to scalarize Idol Yatpu and Butch of the Blue Rats guitars last night ! Weee !!! Even Whitey wants his harp bullet mike scalarized (and parkerized, and chromed as well).

Looks like the Blue Rats will soon be an all-scalarized band :D.

Also got some media mileage. Articles on the scalarizer will be coming out in 2 publications. Can't pre-empt, but yeah, wait na lang till it's published :D

Damn!

I wish I was there to see and jam! My out of town trip really wore me out.

But I intend to resurface when my strat is ready, and to give Bluegem's customized no.1 baby a testdrive

Sir BAMF Please help. I have the metal scalarizer already, problem is pano ko sya ikakabit d2 sa Ibanez S470? Medyo malayo po location ko Mindoro pa  kaya nagpabili nalang ako kay Epoy Martinez if you know him... Pano po ba connection parallel o series? may polarity ba? may kulay kc ung wires nung scalarizer.   :?  :-D  :?

S470...disconnect the wire from the pickup to the volume control. Reconnect that wire back through the scalarizer. Think of it lang as a wire. You can insert it anywhere in the signal path.

Sa yo pala yung papuntang Mindoro :D .

Nasubukan ko na. Not recommended. Ang gulo ng tunog.

Eh kaw, kung fan ka ng magulong tunog hehehe.

Teka lets qualify that. Yung tatlong scalarizer na sabay-sabay (crystal, metal and organicore) gumagana, magulo ang tunog. Pero kung switchable naman you can choose 1 or 2 scalarizers (like in the case of my RJ PRS) to go together. Yun, maganda ang combinations na makukuha mo. I havent tried using the hydrocore tho with others, but crystal metal, metal-organic and crystal-organic are good combinations.
