guys this is OT, but i don't want to start a thread about so simple a question:

how do i use dual-monitors? someone said that i can't just plug one monitor in the motherboard and another in the video card. but the thing is, there's only one monitor slot in my videocard. help?

dude may splitter yung sinasaksakan ng monitor. parang y joint na plug.syempre your video card needs to support multiple view... back to topic.  :-D

You cannot use the mobo graphics and a separate graphics card together because most mobos force you to choose between the onboard graphics and a pcie/agp graphics card. Some mobos even go to the extent of disabling the onboard graphics whenever it senses a video card is inserted. Btw, most graphics cards available today have some form of dual video capability. Even my old 9550 already has a vga and dvi port both of which are independently available, along with a TV (s-video) output.

thanks for the help guys! it wasn't as hard as i thought. apparently i had everything i needed (which i didn't know) and lucky me that my graphics card supported it. here's my humble rig for music, internet, and renderings! hehe
