But it is a weird thing Dave Weckl does not know the term, "blast beats".  He is one of my drum gods but it's surprising to find out he is not into the metal jargons...

i guess siguro dahil marami lang komikera kaya they do lash out those "funny" comments or questions... but for me, kung tayo tayo lang siguro ok lang... pero pag may guest medyo isipin natin there's a time for everything...

naalala ko lang dati, although i believe due to grammar probs lang... nung Nuno Bettencourt (tama ba sfelling?) may sumigaw... "Nuno I'm your Idol!!!" eh si Nuno medyo may complex din yun... hehe... sabi ni nuno... "finally i have found my idol!!! please come here on stage..." papahiyain dapat ni nuno bibigyan ng guitara at jam sila.... dami na natatawa yun... yun nga lang may turn of events... this dude, lumalabas bihasa pala talaga sa guitara.... kumbaga nagka showdown... in fairness may binuga.... so natapos lang yun na ganun... :-D

buti nalang ganun...

funny coz this guy never had a clue na ganun na ang sitwasyon!

Yup, I remember that situation in the Nuno Bettencourt clinic.

There are no stupid questions, just inappropriate ones.

Hindi ba, "There are no stupid questions, just stupid people?" hehehe...

Any way, baka naman hindi legitimate drumer ung nagtanong. I mean, remember the old thread? Where you mentioned some drummers show off their sticks while traveling?

So, akala nya ok tanong nya.

OT ng Konti.

As I have been working with "white men", basta from west for a few years now.. I have noticed na iba talaga frequency ng jokes nila compared to asians, pinoy to be exact. If you want to crack a joke, it seems na para sa kanila, it is in a "legitimate joke time" otherwise, di nila magegets. Um.. I think pati ibang asians, Indonesians pa lang nakita ko a parang pinoy, palabiro kahit s trabaho.

Example questions about
1. Rudiment on the drum set.
2. Favorite fills and if possible, i break down nila.
3. Exercise they used for developing 4 way coordination.

Madalas gusto ng mga clinician drummers na magsite ka ng particular song na tinugtog nila tapos what section of the piece. Example a fill they used from the 2nd verse to the chorus of the song __________.

Just add on sa list, para naman we will all have a better set of questions next time. At hindi puro "Can I  have your sticks?"

O kaya somebody here post a new thread.
