and I got this really nice Fender Gig Bag

and I got a Strap as well

So I opened the bag and I saw this inside

This is my first Strat, so be gentle

IMO don't change the pickguard looks great as it is... opinion ko lang naman.

I really dig the large headstock!!! My baby is a '71 RI 'ata but it has a small headstock......

nice Strat. actually, i think natry ko yang guitar mo mismo a few weeks ago nung dumaan ako sa Van Ness

i especially liked the bridge pickup's tone. tulo laway ko nung nakita ko dun yung former dream guitar ko, yung PRS Modern Eagle in faded blue jean satin finish... ohhhlala!

try a plain black pickguard. bagay yun sa guitar mo

Salamas sa lahat. Excited ako ngayon woot!!woot!! Gusto ko yung Amber Sunburst, kaya lang hindi available sa highway 1. gusto ko yung tone ng 4th setting, with the single coil and the humbucker. Ang kulit din saba nung deluxe kaya lang duda pa ko dun sa switching technology. Parang yung bagong modeling strat. Libre yung strap, he he, pati yung gig bag.

WOW! Highway one. I've been dreaming of having one. Fav ko tlga mga strat with SSH config and oh yeah, hiway one is one of them especially ung black with white pickguard, knobs and pups cover.

sabi sa review manipis lang daw yung paint finish, so after a few months eh natural daw na magpe-fade. So depende sa pag-gamit mo yung 'pagluma'.

Ayan, gusto ko na tuloy umuwi at maglaro, kaya lang 2 hours pa ko dito sa office, buisit.

it was a personal thingy that lead me to relic my guitar... hehehe... got some xtra money(like what you had) last holiday season and just bought some copper foils, soldering iron set, black plastic parts for my strat and some sand papers...

the relicin' process is just simple... pwede kang mamili sa 1.bakbak or 2.liha
mas credible ang hitsura pag binakbak mo ang paint, mala SRV ang dating, then i liha mo lang ng konti yung edges... para syempre hindi ka mainjure sa big flakes of paint ng gitara mo.
kapag niliha mo lang lahat mag mumukha syang parang nalusaw yung paint dahil sa pawis...
and also if ur not a smoker (well i'm not) but you want a cig butt burnt headstock... just go to the nearest inuman gigs sa kalye ninyo and ask for a used cig then ipit mo sa headstock and let it burn... hehehehe

so you decide what kind of relicin' you want...
