Don't know how to start this post... man, I was so dumbfounded, full or rage... sadness... ALL my guitar gears was stolen inside my car hours ago. Sh*T. This is one of the worst day of my life.

I parked my car near LRT Gilmore station at around 5:50am since my shift starts from 6am to 3pm. Car's just near my office... when I went out to go for our band practice, F*ck! My backseat's window is broken and my guitar and complete pedal board is gone in my passenger seat!! I was so confused... didn't know what to do. I can't leave the car there... cellphone's out of battery, don't even have a prepaid load... plate number's on coding.... practice starts @ 4pm... I'm really dead. To add, this is my older sister's car! Me and my girl immediately went to Camp Panopio to report and have this blottered. Man... the policeman just logged in his book with complete details .. asked for my contact number... that's it. I was expecting for more thorough investigation. None. Thank God, bandmates were all supportive and accompanied us back in the office to have it informed with the Security. I was shocked to know from the Head Security that I'm already the 8th person to be victimized with this gang! Shrug...

We then went to another Barangay Hall hoping to get any leads... no luck. The Hepe was not that helpful since the incident has already been reported to the police..

Man... all my gears. Gone... All my office overtime, blood and sweat I endured just to buy my pedals and guitars. Sh*t. Please be careful when parking your car in Gilmore Area, near the computer shop. I'll post my gear pictures later.Here are the list of the items stolen:

Man! So sorry to hear this, bro. I hope you have written down your guitar's serial number. Maybe the crook will, by a stroke of luck, sell it to a forumite. I really feel bad for you, man.
I don't mean to be a [sausage], but doesn't your car have a trunk so that you left it on the backseat?

yeah... so f*ckin dumb of me. I always put my gears in my car's trunk. Male Late na kasi ako kanina kaya nagmadali na lang ako ilagay sa loob ng kotse.

Ouch! Feel sorry for you man. Lesson learned the hard way.. Never leave valuable items in the car that are visible. If you must... Put it in the trunk.

Hope they catch the one responsible for this.

I'd say be careful leaving anything visible to thieves. Leaving something that is valuable and visible to thieves is a costly mistake you'll ever make...which can be avoided.

when i first read your post, i thought it was a fwd msg... but damn, it really happened this time.

man, it must feel so terrible... i am very sorry to hear that... kahit pala guitar gear ninanakaw... try checking the pawnshops... im sure they will dispose it there.

best of luck in finding your gear ... and remember... you can still rock out with just an RJ strat and an overdrive pedal... so dont lose hope.

Sama talaga ng mga ganun... pero siguro sana sa mabuti napunta yun baka kinailangan nyang nakawin... pero sana sa mabuting paraan nya ginamit yung perang pinagbentahan. Sorry to hear this man... hope you wrote down the serials and pass it on to the luthiers... chances are pag nagpaayos sila ng guitars and match sa serials mo then... but then again pwede din nabili nalang din yun from a crook.... well at least you can trace it from there...

yeah, man, sorry to hear about that. i feel your pain. in future, do ALWAYS think about prevention because there are a lot f d*cks out there who just steal for no regard of the law or the fact that you may have worked so hard for the gear you acquired. it is better to be late to something because you took the necessary measures to stick your gear in the trunk out of view than to be on time and be increasingly complacent about how your gear will always be safe.

hope you get your stuff back - OR - get to take nad shots at the guys who stole your stuff. only God knows what I would do to people that cross me that way.

i remembered last 2 years eh merong kumatok sa pinto ng haus namitn at nag aalok ng IBANEZ guitar and BOSS volume controll (P8k)
... though may pera ako eh hindi ko binili yun kase alam ko na nakaw and dun plang nung nakita ko yung guitar naisip ko na agad kung gano nakakaawa yung may-ari

eh pano kung yung may ari nun eh yun lang ang kinabibihay para pakainin yung pamilya nya???, de parang pinatay na rin nung magnanakaw yung mga anak nung gitarista!

ingat nlang mga amigo... pag buitbit ko yung gamit ko eh paranoid na ko., HINDI BIRO PINAMBILI NATIN DITO!!

last year, tumugtog kami sa UP, yung banda ng friend ko, bumaba ng cab, tapos nag uunload na sila from the cab's trunk ng gear nila. naibaba na halos lahat, naiwan na lang yung epiphone gothic lp, boss gt8 ng isang gitarista (na wala pang isang linggo sa kanyang pag aari! - he quit the band that night din. damn.). biglang umarangkada yung cab paalis. nde na nila nahabol at hindi rin nila nakuha yung plate number. so ang lesson dito: always list down the plate number of the cab ur riding.. tsaka always have a bandmate stay in the car habang hindi pa naibaba lahat ng gamit ng buong banda. kung kayo ang nag iisa lang na naka cab, wag niyong ilalagay sa trunk yung stuff, sa backseat lang.. tapos pag baba niyo, make sure na madadala niyo lahat ng gamit niyo pababa ng isahang beses lang. wag kayong mag iiwan kahit ano mangyari, bka biglang umandar. magbayad din kayo pag nakababa na kayo talaga. mahirap nang mawalan at manakawan.

Dunno if it can help any, but maybe you can have people keep an eye out in the Sta. Mesa music stores coz there might be a chance that the guys who took your stuff could try selling them there ..
