this is my 10 y/o RJ 60s ventures strat loaded with Di marzio Air zone on the bridge and ibanez LO TRS floyd rose system. it was my main guitar for 7-8 years and it does the job well. downside lang is its really heavy.

Nice strat there!

Change the knobs and switch tip and pickup covers to black.

Make it look like a highway one double locking strat of some sort!
Get Wylde.

Heres my newest project, completed just this morning.

Its my little bro's Ibanez GRGM21, which I upgraded to facilitate stable tuning and dangerously good looks.

Leave a comment.

Thanks guys.

Practically was given the body, neck and everything and "borrowed" the ibanez edge tremolo, dimarzio fred pickup which I still have to install.

I'm going for a Satriani guitar for this one. Same specs, basswood body with maple/rosewood neck, Ibane edge tremolo and a fred. Although it does look like an iron maiden axe. :)

It sounds IDENTICAL to the zakk wylde LP on terms of tonal quality, but plays closer to an epiphone LP Custom.

The Epiphone LP's are darker due to the quality of the mahogany they use, this LP uses Primavera (White Mahogany) which makes it close, if not identical to the mahogany/maple used in the zakk wylde LP.

Thanks guys!

Dude... your RJ and Ibanez GRG Custom is AWESOME! I was jaw dropped! Amazing pare... How much did you spend with the RJ? Very nice gold hardware... very classy!!

The RJ LP cost me a total of 238++ Guitar Included

The Ibanez GRG ended up 174++ Guitar Included

It was an expensive trip, but well worth it. I wouldnt trade the LP for anything now.
That LP is just ME.
Get Wylde.

In this case, we have a flashy new squier (which is questionably cheap) turned into a battered "SRV-Mayer hybrid". Its the other way around but I think it would be nothing but fun to show it here.

I sneaked a Fender decal from ebay and tinted the neck with polyurethane. Yea, of course we've treated the guitar like a skateboard in school. Also note that I've removed the 22nd fret.

This guitar never got underway for long. I never even played it in our high school shows which would've made me unforgettable. I remember I just got so saturated over the fact that its a battered guitar. Now its nothing but a strat body hanged on my life-monument wall, a fretless and lifeless neck and parts bagged somewhere under my bed. Its probably my "reserve fleet".
