Papi ralph, sabi mo di ba di okay si TS9 pag panget amp? Okay na yon sa Marshall MG30cfx? Home use lang.

IMHO, yes, di talaga siya okay with a bad amp. IMHO again, iwas ka jan sa MG30cfx. medaling masira, kulang sa volume/headroom for jamming with a full band. I'd go STAGG GAR60, rather than MG30cfx
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

Can you guys recommend a cheap but good sounding overdrive?

Balak ko sana bumili ng tc electronic mojomojo.

I previously owned a bad monkey. I liked it. I might purchase one again. I'm currently using the joyo ultimate drive. My only concern with the pedal is how long it would last.

depends on your use. if its going to be a standalone dirt for low to mid gain applications, you can look at Mooer's Flex Boost or Dan Electro's Cool Cat Transparent Overdrive.

for a boost, I don't think there's any that can replace a TS based OD.

Mooer hustle drive.

About your concern on joyo, well i havent owned one but i have tried and used one before and I can say it can take a beating, it would last.

Thanks for the replies sir. I'll check those pedals out. Cheers!

I'm currently using Dod preamp for boosting and the joyo ultimate drive as a stand alone mid gain pedal.

a quick google on MARSHALL MG30 ISSUES will show you na mejo maraming instances. yung sa friend ko kasi nagkaganun din, ako nagdala kay mang raul (the amp doctor) and yun nga, mejo sirain daw talaga, not advisable for playing with a band.

@musicanurse - I'm currently using a Laney LX 65r. Ok naman for practice and jamming with a full band. I have tried the stagg Gar60. Ok din.

yeap. mas okay pa si LX65R at GAR60. tho for larger venues, magkukulang na rin ang headroom nito. for a jam room, small gig, it'll do wonders tho.

best bet parin, PEAVEY BANDIT112

Panalo peavey bandit. Yan gamit namin sa practice studio. great sound and can take pedals very well. Hindi lang kinaya ng budget ko hehe

I don't do gigs anymore. Kaya ok na din yung Laney para sakin. Minsan nagagamit yung amp sa inuman jam.

Decent looper function if you're not into much Looping. But if for bedroom practice RC 3. Or try the Digitech TRIO Looper

+1 sa cool cat Transparent OD

Suggest ko din yung Joyo Vintage Overdrive. Maganda rin and mura pa ;)

I always wanted a looper na may dedicated stop switch button. So I will go for Ditto X2. Yung separate na stop button for looping is very useful lalo na pag live performances ;)

Hi guys! would you suggest buying an amp from pcpark japan store? How's the quality of their products? if you have already bought something from them. They have some vox pathfinder amps and I'm planning to buy one. Thanks!

What branch in particular? If it's the one in cubao, I almost bought a vox pathfinder there. Not saying anything bad about pcpark but the way they do business is "as is" basis. Meaning if they got a defective unit, they will sell you a defective unit. Again, not saying anything bad about them. The vox amps, in farmers cubao, that I tried are all defective for various reasons. There's one that didn't even turn on, there's one that had a loud buzzing sound and the last one that I tried worked the power indicator (the red light) was already busted. So I ended up not buying anything. That was a couple of months ago. They may have new units available but I'm not sure. It would be best if you try it yourself and see what works for you.

it used to be a nice place for bargains, nowadays, they just sell overpriced stuff. some of which aren't even made in japan, it just came from there and they're trying to pass it out as MADE IN JAPAN. SMH =))

IMHO, if you're always on the go, always on the road, always on gig --> Mono
But if you are just after protection at home and/or for some occasional jams, a cheap matching hardcase is fine.

Yun oh! Thanks paps. Yung "water resistance" capability nung Mono yung medyo habol ko dun eh kaso di naman talaga ako laging on the go, saka lang pag may jam kaya I'll go with the hardcase na rin.
