Maybe it's because I know them as people, but I find nothing wrong with them. Their music lately is not much to my liking - I still prefer their Method of Breathing era. However, their sound now is where they want to go as a group; I won't fault their reasons because it's their band and it's their sound.

All I can I say is that chico sci finaly found their sound. (opinion)

When I firts heard them during the Hupaw-NuMetal days they always put melodic punkish stuff to their hard heavy songs

And when Paris came , I realize ayun na parang gusto na nila mag melow down ah

I also remember when they sound check I heard them play lines from Coheed and Cambria - Evrything Evil hmmm
Siguro nung 2003 ko yun narinig basta hindi pa USO yung EMO word-music sa Pinas.

Naastigan ako sa kanila lalo na yung nakita ko yung mga bago nilang vids.

Lalo na ung sa CVSC. May Parkour pa.

Ito yung proof na gusto nila tugtugin yung mga gusto nilang banda.
Nag-soundcheck din sila ng Glassjaw songs at around the same time.

Lantad na lantad yung Glassjaw influence sa second album nila, kaya nung una kong pinakinggan yun sa may Tower dati, blech... wag na.

Ganun din naman ang ginawa ng Plane Divides the Sky around that time. Sa EP at first album nila, alam mo nang gustong magtunog Glassjaw yung banda, sinama pa yung Godzilla-philia ni Daryl Palumbo.

PERO aminado naman silang fans, natatandaan ko pa naka-GJ shirt pa si Alexis nung una silang tumugtog sa UP Fair e. At ngayon naman, medyo creative na rin ang tinatahak nilang musical direction (unless may kinokopya silang banda ngayon na hindi ko pa alam).

Hindi katulad ng Chicosci na kapag hinanay sa emo/post-hardcore, todo tanggi naman.

They're Ok, if u ask me... Kaso what pisses me off is that many of those who "appreciate" Chicosci sound are posers... Some of them call themselves Vampires even though Seven Black Roses lang ang lam nilang kanta ng chicosci...

I reckon 70% of the so called vampires don't know "Sink or Swim" and 50% of them don't know "Paris".

Subtopic... Kung bumalik ang Chicosci sa NU Metal, mawawala ba ang hatred nyo sa kanila.

I personally dont hate them, I just missed the old Chicoscience,. ang bilis din kasi nung Nu Metal-HUpaw days, iilan na lang sa kanila ang nagstick sa type of music they play. yung mga "vampires" kasi sunod sa uso,. kung anong napapanood sa mga music channels, yun na ang favorite nila, ina-idolized. lahat sasakay para maging cool at in.

OK pa rin naman, pero mas OK sila dati.

Nakakatawa nga yang mga batang yan, lalo na yung mga babae, bampira raw sila. Tapos patay na patay kay Miggy at Mong, dahil kamukha raw ni Pete Wentz, etc. Eh hindi yata nila naabutan noong long hair pa yung dalawa (at nakadreads pa itong si Mong) at grabe kung maghuhupaw!
