kaya lang ako nakinig ng rock(broad term, btw) dahil yun ang pinapatugtog sa bahay. wala naman akong choice kasi ala akong pambili ng CD/kaset, hindi ko pa alam ang concept ng radio. kaya kung ano man pinapakinggan sa bahay, dun na rin ako. my mom is a wolfgang fan kaya un hahah nakagat ako.pati sa rock n roll, inexpose nia ako. lots and lots of aretha! pero nung tumanda ako(high school), lumawak na talaga. so i wouldn't say na rakista(if that limits me to listening to rock and only rock) ako, kasi when i'm asked to fill out the Favorite Music field, naguguluhan ako... kasi pano un?! eh.... Music is my favorite

Ako hindi ko hilig ang rock dati.. nung mga elementary pa lang ako.. siguro mga 1996 ata nun.. Mahilig ako sa mga acoustics ng dashboard at nickelback.. walang distortion.. heheh~

Nahumaling ako sa rock nung napakinggan ko ang Parokya ni Edgar, Kiko Machine, Giniling Fest, si Dolphy, saka si Long Mejia etc. basta mga punkmetal, tapos nakakatawa.. sa foreign ung mga Comedy Metal.. Blessed by a Broken Heart, A Dozen Furies, Person Hurter, Jim Carey etc..

At dahil pakalat kalat ang gitara sa bahay.. tinopak akong pag aralan sila..
Ganun din ang inaalikabok na drums sa bodega.. (wag ka nang magtanong kung bat me drums don...)

pero hindi ako rakista.. ayoko nun.. amfanet.. sana palitan na lang nila yung term.. pang poser yun.. yakk!!!

ha ha Ako hilig ko mga ballad dati, kahit toto noon parang ang bigat na saken, pero nung 1990s big turn around ang daming lumabas na rock ballads na ang gagaling, natutong magitara simula non nabuksan ang isip sa bagong mundo he he.

rakista means hindi siguro yung bands like carpenters (pero Karen is cool though...ganda ng melodies nila) or air supply (though nagemote ako sa the one that you love nila....)

ako when i got to listen to the album With The Beatles.......then the great Innovator Kurt Cobain came i was a rakista since until now

balik uli sa Best of Paul Mccartney...wala ng creativity sa bands today........weve got to wait for another Kurt or someone else....

nainfluensyahan ng tropa nung highschool makinig ng rock...elementary hip hop ako eh...hehehe...started with opm rock bands such as the teeth wolfgang eheads etc...then pinakawalan ng insan ko dark side ko by bringing pantera into me...the rest is history...hehehe

Pero im not a "rakista" per se. I don't want to be labeled as that. Para sa akin mas nagiging musically mature ang tao pag iba't ibang klase ng music ang naaappreciate niya.

Nagsimula nung narinig ko "You Give Love a Bad Name". Pero at the time medjo di pa mashado kumbins. Pagdating ng Keep the Faith album tsaka Ugly Kid Joe (America's Least Wanted album), yun na tuloy2x na.

Even listened to some GnR, metallica, poison, twisted sister, dio albums pero sa Bon Jovi and Ugly Kid talaga ako na-convert.
