Yes there's a huge gap. The "N" in the G1N stands for "New Drive" which means Zoom has been aware of the sucky nature of their drive sounds.
There's still the Organicore Scalarizer,Rogeryu's DEC box and my tube buffer. But I'll know if I need anything more done to it after I listen to it loud. And when I open it and find a precompressor circuit like what's found on the Zoom G2...ayuz.
Ask ko lang sir conclusion sa statement above do have any ideas na to enhance it?? kasi i have a g1xN, its been my one and only pedal for a year been with me through thick and thin ), so now im trying to venture to idividual stompboxes na (already have a SH coming this friday and DL8 on march) to improve my sound... thinking of selling it pero ive been thinking twice eh to keep it for its modulation and some patches. The only problems i have with this pedal are:
1. when every effect is off or in tuner mode there is still a diffrence sa sound compared to pluging the guitar directly, may tone suck eh so yung sound affected by effects are compromised na di siya transparent---
2. Some effects sound too digital sounding, nabasa ko sa yung mga ginawa niyo po sa ibang G2.1u
na magtunog analog kaya niyo po ba sa G1xn??
do you think you could "mod" this problems out?
saka sir ano findings niyo?
plano ko kasi if ever sabay ko na sa pagpapascalarize ng guitar ko eh
(kaso baka march pa po medyo mabigat yung Dl8 at SH, wala pa pala ako amp ( )
