hehe, ngayon it's hale and cueshe, when they got sikat everybody (ok sige, not everybody) seemed to want to be emo. but lyrics-wise? no comment. talk about taste.

for me Rivermaya turned the OPM scene upside down with how they come up with astig albums, esp. yung mga themes nila (think Asin). ayun.

80's - juan dela cruz band

Those times, 90's, haiskul ako noon.. we all wanted to sound like Hammett.. But when the Eli Buendia's Chuck-taylor-wearing Band (yup, they even brought that back to the scene noon) came up, it kinda wooed us away from heavy metal for some time.. Like for one time, we were all yelling "...enter night.. exit light.. take my hand.."

tapos naging.. "di ba! 't@ng-!na! nagmukha akong [chewbacca].. pinaasa mo lang akooooo.."

jerom velasco - is now a sound engineer and guitarist for day dream cycle, played guitars for the mongols who will mutate to pupil.

dok sergio - tshirt designer, played bass for the mongols, bassist for pupil and day dream cycle

tanggapin na natin na kanya kanyang trip lang yan hehe pero ung mga bumubuhay talaga sa opm scene shempre eraserheads-dahil madaming nahumaling magbanda dahil sa kanila, juan dela cruz-nagmulat sa alternatibong mundo sa pinas, parokya-dahil andaming natuwa sa kalokohan nila at mala pang araw araw na nangyayari sa typical na buhay ng mga kabataang pinoy,rivermaya-dahil tumatagal parin sila at walang takot na magpalit palit ng genre,slapshock-dahil sila ang unang nagbukas sa pandinig ng mga pinoy na pwede dn pala sa pinas ang ganto kaingay na genre,typecast-nagbukas sa isipan ng mga emo-ng bata sa panahon ngayon..

madami pang iba pero PARA SA AKIN..

-wala pakong narinig na ibang banda na humuli sa husay nila sa pag-gawa ng kanta..
sinasamba ko ang mga 'to.. nangangarap ako na magkaron ng bandang ganito kahusay at ka-passionate sa paggawa ng mga kanta.. walang tapon sa kaisa-isang album na para sa akin-pinaka sulit na album sa history ng OPM.
