Mga bro, more questions here, hehe..

Pang limang session ko na bukas sa gym, bale kahapon naka 70 minutes na ako sa threadmill, sa tancha ko 50 minutes ang tinakbo ko (7.9 ang bilis) pero may pahinga in-between na 5 to 10 minutes na lakad (4.5 speed)

1)Tama ba yung ginagawa ko? Ano bang tama at pinaka effective na pag gamit ng threadmill?

2) Ano pang exercise ang dapat kong gawin habang pinapahinga ko yung paa ko matapos mag threadmill?

3) Yung pawis ba ang sign na nagsusunog ang isang tao ng fats? Taglamig dito ngayon kaya matagal bago ako pagpawisan eh. Dapat ba akong magsuot ng mas makapal na damit para mas madali akong pawisan?

4) May silbi ba ang steam bath o sauna bath sa pag papapayat? Tingin ko yung moisture lang na dala ng steamer ang tumutulo sa katawan ko, hindi talaga pawis. Kelangan ba 'to? ....dyahi maglakad-lakad ng hubo't hubad sa harap ng mga supot eh.  :-P  :lol:

There's no really correct way to use the mill. But an effective way that I know is this:
check you heart rate before you get on the mill:

2 minutes - walk (speed 4)
1 minute - run (speed 6)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
1.5 minutes - run (speed 6)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
1.5 minute - run (speed 6.5)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
2 minute - sprint (speed 7)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
2 minute - sprint (speed 7.5)
1 minute  walk (speed 4)
2 minute - sprint (speed 7.5)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
2 minute - sprint (speed 7.5)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
2 minute - run (speed 6)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
2 minute - run (speed 6)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
2 minute - run (speed 6)
1 minute - walk (speed 4)
1 minute - coold down (speed 3)

check your heart rate after you finished
check it again 10 minutes after - if its almost the same as when you started, you're good.

This keeps your heart rate in check and its fat burning.

I'll teach you the Cardio workout after you've done this for 2 weeks. (remind me ok).

You stretch. I assume you know the basic stretching and some calisthenics stretching?

3) Yung pawis ba ang sign na nagsusunog ang isang tao ng fats? Taglamig dito ngayon kaya matagal bago ako pagpawisan eh. Dapat ba akong magsuot ng mas makapal na damit para mas madali akong pawisan?

Sweat is body water. Its just a sign na your body is trying to cool off. You gain that weight right after you eat food and drink water or any liquid. Don't worry about sweat, some people barely sweat and still lose a lot of fat. Wear comfortable clothes when you work out.

4) May silbi ba ang steam bath o sauna bath sa pag papapayat? Tingin ko yung moisture lang na dala ng steamer ang tumutulo sa katawan ko, hindi talaga pawis. Kelangan ba 'to? ....dyahi maglakad-lakad ng hubo't hubad sa harap ng mga supot eh.  :-P  :lol:

steam - cleanses your skin. moisturizes it. slab a light lotion when you get in. also helps in your breathing.

sauna - imagine daing. you put it under the sun, it dries up. that's what happens inside the sauna. it makes us shrivel. I've seen Mixed Martial Arts and most sportsmen do this to 'Cut' weight". Its all water weight that you lose. It helps in burning fat in a way. Don't stay too long 15 minutes is actually too long to stay in the sauna. It helps your muscles relax. You know what that means. Faster recovery = you can lift more the next time = more muscles you gain.

Bry, di ko ma check yung heart rate ko kasi wala akong gadget.

Anyway, parang mas nahihirapan ako sa speed na 4 saka 6, parang alanganin. So ginagawa ko 5.5 saka 6.5, tapos yung sprint mga nasa 8. Bale alternate sila, 5 to 10-minute jog 3-minute walk. Yung sprint na 8 ang speed mga 5 minutes lang.
Basta tuloy-tuloy lang ako sa treadmill ng 30 to 45 minutes. Ok lang ba yun?

ang bilis ng 8, but if you can, that's ok.

no need for gadgets.

find your pulse. look at a clock. then bilangin mo ang heart rate mo for exactly 1 minute.

Mga Sir, pasala naman. Ive been working out for 5 years. Tumitigil lang minsan dahil sa schedule ng work or school pero hinde lumalagpas ng 2 weeks ang pahinga. Syempre may time parin magjam with my band. Nagwoworkout ako sa Pasig Rainforest Gym. Gym that was founded and funded by the city goverment 10 years ago dito sa pasig. The number of gym equipment  is more than or equal sa mga exclusive fitness clubs around the metro though I dont have to pay thousands of pesos to work out. 100php for the membership then 10php per session. Meron din teabo, aero, tsaka martial arts pero 30 php per session yun. Gym is exclusive for pasiguenos only pero pwede pa din ang outsiders.  Outsiders needs to pay 60php per session which is still lower compare to other fitness clubs out there. AFter your done working out, pwede ding magstroll sa labas ng gym kse the gym is inside a park na may mini zoo, swimming pool, playground, basketball and tennis court, function hall at marami pang iba. May mga celebs din na nagwoworkout before though hinde ganun ka dami pero nung nagkaroon ng fitness, golds, etc., nagsilipatan na. Im on a weight lose program right now not because im overweight pero para magkadefinition at mgkaroon ng ng cuts. Ok na ang muscle mass ko, kailangan ng magkaroon ng cuts talaga. My program right now ay day 1, chest & biceps, day 2, shoulder &legs, and day 3, back & triceps. 20-30 minutes cardio tapos warm up for 10 mins then buhat na. SInce weight loss program, hinde dapat ganun kabigat yung buhat mo. You need to burn fat kaya dapat more reps. Syempre kailangan talaga ng diet. less carbs, more protein. Syempre dapat may cheat day ka parin for your diet which is day 4 sa asking program. rest lng talaga sa day 4. next day, buhat ulit.    :-D

sa inyo, ok ba ang pyramid lifting? o kung anong weight sa unang set, ganon pa rin hanggang 3rd or 4th set?

hehehe nag iba na ko ng trip ngayon...

tinanggal ko na yung plates sa dumbbells ko at yun na ginagamit kong hawakan pag mag push ups ako...sarap! tatlong araw akong hindi maka bangon sa kama at para akong nilagnat sa sakit ng katawan ko!  :lol:

pero sa biceps, same pa din...alternate curls at concentration curls na parehong 4 sets...

no lifting and excercise for two months. it sucks. I got sick twice (trangkaso) then I overextended my stupid elbow. I hate it.

ako din! tips naman jan mga macho papa. haha.

meron akong barbell dito, yung bawat plato ay may timbang na 2.5 pounds. meron din naman akong tig 12 pounds na plato pero tinanggal ko muna. ang gusto ko lang naman mangyari sa katawan ko, magkalaman ng kaunti. ayoko naman ng magmumukha akong bouncer. gusto ko slim pero may korte naman kahit papaano, especially sa biceps, triceps, balikat.

sa ngayon ang alam ko lang gawin ay:

1. yung para sa biceps na curls ba yun? ewan. parang nagdudumbell
2. yung bubuhatin mo paitaas na parang captain barbell pero gamit dalawang kamay. military press ba tawag dito?
3. yung squats, habang nakapasan sa balikat ko yung barbell.

tig-tatlong rounds itong mga to, tapos tig sampung ulit bawat round. tama ba tong ginagawa ko? kasi parang walang pagbabago sa katawan ko.

Ows? Di nga?
