Katabi ni Stevie Ray Vaughan matulog si Number 1 pag wala si Lenny, wife nya...

Eric Clapton bought (if I am not mistaken with the model) 5 57' black strats.
He gave one to George Harrison, one to Pete Townshed and the last 3 for himself. He chose the best parts of the last 3 strats and assembled the guitar known to us as "Blackie"

Clapton wrote the song "wonderful tonight" for Patti, ex-wife of bestfriend George Harrison. He wrote the 1st part while waiting for Patti to dress up for the party they will be attending. Then later completed the song after they went home from the party.

Eric Clapp a.k.a Eric Clapton

Stephen Ray Vaughan a.k.a. Stevie Ray Vaughan

SRV loved Number 1 so much that when the neck of Number 1 was totally wrecked, he had his guitar tech disassemble the neck of the red strat he used in the 1983 Live in Austin gig be removed and replace the original neck of Number 1. The red strat was replaced with a left handed fender neck.

.... nakwento sakin!

Stevie Ray Vaughan use gauge 13 on Number 1, but as he became more famous and had a lot of gigs he switched to gauge 11's but with a 13's on the 1st string.

i dont know if everyone knows this..

kurt cobain had a custom guitar made for him by fender.. its a combination of jaguar and mustang. also called jagstang. shown here in fiesta red.

he had another jagstang in sonic blue with his name on the back of the headstock.

its known that when kurt received the guitar, it needed so much tweeking that he had to send it back to fender.

here are the facts re the death of Clapton's son. pina hatid ng ex-wife  ni eric yng 8 year old son nila sa apartment niya sa London. Naiwan ng cleaning lady na nakabukas yung isang bintana...at ayun, nag ala Superman yung bata. 28th floor yata yun... Eric was so depressed w/ the tragic death of his beloved son that he didn't played for several years ...& when he came up w/ the song "tears fm. heaven" it became #1 in the music charts & won eight Grammy awards...

si eric johnson din nag solo sa "ride like the wind", while Christopher Cross use to be a roadie for Deep Purple, ( and sometimes sessions for the band also, pag sobrang bogsa yung gitarista, dnt know if it's ritchie or tommy bolin ). matino at professional naman si Steve Morse ng siya na gitarisa ng Deep...

2 of my favorite guitarist, Roy Buchanan & Joe Pass were ex cons... Roy was arrested for public intoxication & allegedly committed suicide several hours after the arrest, using his own shirt... how tragic! Roy's tone is so incredible. He inspired a lot of guitar legends like Jeff Beck ( he even dedicated the tune "cause we've ended as lovers" to Roy.) the group Rolling Stones even asked Roy to be their guitarist (w/c he declined). and Joe Pass, what can I say about the "Virtuoso" ? I'll take him anytime rather than all of the Gambales, Yngwies, Vais, & Petrucci's combined... sadly, he was arrested for drugs & died of cancer...
