...i agree when it comes to tubes heating up being good  the problem is when the tube holders you know the ones used to plug them into place are made of plastic now all you need is time for heat to do a number on your amps. The first version of the goldtones and the velocettes had this problem when i bought mine i made sure it was the one made with ceramic now i dont know about the new marshall dsl or tsl let alone the blues juniors. These amps are made with the budget conciuos musicians in mind and they skimped on a lot of parts or tightend their budget to get the same sound but with compromised parts
Quote
i don't think heating up is a concern... you want your tubes to be hot... the hotter the better, that's why you wanna crank up the volume on those tube amps... just don't blow it up.

is that why people still think the vintage or older amps are more reliable?

seems to be the case..

and i would tend to agree when it comes to valve amps..

I LOVE the heavy stuff, man! i have a wide music taste but when i play my guitar its oftenly heavy, cuz i love hearing that bone-crunching, skull-grinding, sound.. with alot of rapid hammer ons, pulls, and bending of course  :D  :D  :D

I agree, I owned an LTD H-300. I sold it over a year ago. Nothing was wrong with it except the neck was too thin.
