Tnx  :) .. I use a pair Yamaha DXR10, using  xlr cables direct. I tried different active PA speakers (FBT Verve, Alto TS112A, Mackie's, ELV, etc and also considered the Atomic CLRs but ultimately ended up with these) Form factor, great sound, reliability. The specs are below.

Awesome. Do you get amp sims from your Amplifire or does the AX8 have amps sims itself?

Nope not though the Atomic Amplifire. The AX8 has amps.  The Fractal FX8 is effects only. This AX8 is like an AXE FX 2 in floorboard form. It has some limitations though, can't do double  amps and sims like the big bro. Had to get on a long waiting list but totally worth the wait.  :-D I'm diggin' it immensely, sounds identical to my XL+. and it's PORTABLE  ! (about 2 1/2 x the size of the Amplifire, still very portable) No need to lug around the MFC-101

Wow that's well worth the price of admission! Have you tried to hook up the AX8 to FOH at a gig? Are you able to reproduce your sound 1:1?
