oasis, radiohead, eheads, rivermaya, goo goo dolls, collective soul, portishead, and any band who sound a like these bands.

In choosing your own genre in rock & roll, dapat talaga yung makaka-relate ka, at mga friends & family mo.  I think this is the best way para mag work-out ang any band you put up... :)

"Family reunion"
girl: tito, bf co nga pala.
tito: oy kamusta ka iho?
boy: mabuti po
tito: balita co nasa banda ka daw ah? maganda yan.
boy: ah opo, vocalist po aco.
tito: good. good. ok yan.
girl: onga pala tito, tutugtog sila dito sa family reunion natin diba?
tito: oo nga pala. cge perform na kayo para mapanuod na ng mga ibang tito, tita, lolo, lola at iba pang relatives namin.
boy: ok cge po.

band prepares then starts:

"KAGAG! KAGAG! KAGAGAGAG!"
"GRAAAHHH!!!!" "MRUOOOOGGHHH!!!!" "HUPAWPAW!" "SKREEE!!!!"
"BREGENG!!!" "KAGAG!" KAG-KAG-KAGAGAG!!!"

tito looks at his niece with a disappointing look, as well as all them relatives. hehe.

Old classic genre mala nirvana and skid row and james hetfield or metallica ang dating noon ang ayaw ko kasi bago trip ng genre masyado madami na eh kaya mas gusto ko maka lumang genre nila yung pagka legend nila at di masyado overrated gusto ko mala uniques style nila lalo na style sa isang mahabang buhok not in part way of jay in cueshet lol coz that hair is sucks, kaya dun ko pagiging part na isang fans ng metal. :lol:

Most genres that revolve around a certain 6-stringed instrument.*

...with a few exceptions.


* number of strings may vary from as few as 3 or 4 to as many as 8, 12 or 14.

Before we used to play songs that have difficult riffs................... for learning purpose i guess.............. But now i play songs that basically suites my ear and personality.................

im new here and very much interested to learn different genres.
used to play classic rock...but poverty caused me to play pop...heheh :lol:  at first, it was kinda freaky, but as you fully understand a genre...the beauty of it grows each day... 8)
