Seriously, John Paul Jones. Anyone agree with me?

Compared sa recognition na nakuha ni Page, Plant and Bonham he is underrated. He is one of the most underrated musician in my opinion and yes he plays guitar(if you didn't know) and bass, keyboards, banjo, mandolin and a whole lot more.

I guess nakasanayan na nya since session musician sila ni Page when they started. Musicians who dont get much credit for their work. The reality of some musicians. Sad.

see him with Paul Gilbert.

Marc Rizzo (check his solo work)

Roope Latvala (definitely overshadowed by Alexi Laiho)

Mark Morton and Will Adler (Lamb of God wouldn't be the band they are today without those two)

Barry Thomson (Pure old school death metal riffage)

Andreas Kisser (Sepultura can live without Max but won't live without Andreas)

Dino Cazares (really tight with his riffing)

Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel (Some people only remember the early sellout days of Machine Head when they joined the rap metal scene. The Blackening album though can make critics eat their words)

Pepper Keenan and Kirk Windstein (sludgy but groovy at the same time)

Phil Anselmo (everyone thinks of him as Pantera/Down/Superjoint Ritual's frontman but he played amazing guitar parts on his black metal project Christ Inversion)

these days.. for me, napaka tasteful ng mga guitar solos niya. hindi na yung punkish thing nung mga unang album. pabigat na ng pabigat yung riffs niya. something like ac/dc with kiss and some other stuff din.

ang galing niya rin sa chelsea girls. note perfect yung cover nila ng welcome to the jungle. ang galing!
