yung stripes pala sa horns are ebony strips na pang reinforce. nakow. sinigurado talagang solid to. hehe. i can dismount a horseman with this guitar.

Curious lang ako -- how do those ebony strips provide additional support?  By carving out the body wood and plugging in the cavities with those strips, how is resonance, sustain, tonal quality, etc. impacted?

Sir tanong ko lang kung nakita niyo po yung ESP Eclipse copy ko? Hindi ko rin kasi alam kung nasa wood na. 

dude if sayo ung naka reversed esp ltd headstock, narra (not sure if narra) top and front/back body binding, well nakita ko na. ang ganda ng grain ng top man, napansin ko agad ung reversed headstock e hehe, body/neck 85% made na, no fretmarkers, no frets, no pup cavities yet sa nakita ko last monday!

show us some pics bro when you get it ayt, di kasi ako nakapagdala ng cam when i went there!

you ha...hehe...i've seen then plate plan pa lang ng gtr mo, i hope its one of those bodies na rin na ginagawa nya, i've seen the design and man its really cool, ung headstock nga daw andami na sina-suggest ni mang max but you want your own design hehe!!!contrasting sa inlay mo hehe!

Hey guys, any of you checked the Parker thread put up just now? Interesting build process.

For any of you that want to have guitars built by Mang Max, you could take something from the Parker design process. I'm thinking my future Mang Max custom will sport a three wood-body.

First layer is the narra top while the second layer is spruce with a mahogany back. All solid of course.

Would make for interesting tonal variation I would imagine. I'm sure Mang Max could handle the job.

i've also been planning this for a long time. if only we could speed up sir richard's shipments.

theoretically, it should add a little support like bracings in an acoustic guitar. though not really necessary, id rather be safe than sorry. but thats on paper. i dont think it would be detrimental to whatever tonal qualities it would have because 1. its not done yet and 2. im trying to mimic the sound of an all maple electric guitar. since ebony is a pretty dense wood, along with the narra top, ill get a pretty trebly guitar. that is to my liking though. i dont really like warm mushy tones.

something like a 24 fret tele with some differences in shape para mas unique. i'm finally going to meet him on monday. i'll bring pictures and stuff. i'll update with what we'll come up with. pero inquiry pa lang kase matagal pa dadating yung parts.
