My guitar is a "VINTAGE FRAMUS FOLK GUITAR and 5 STRING HONDO II BANJO.

By the way here are some updates for those future Mang Max customs.
Mang Max is also finishing Luigi Lerma's custom Fat Strat. But he said we don't want to spoil the owner.

Just want to share my experience with Mang Max..

Saturday (24-July-2010) Rainy day:
Me and my friend brought our church bass guitar to be fixed by Mang Max.

Bass guitar issue:
• Fret Buzz
• Loose truss rod
• High action
• Poor electronics
• Volume knob is not responding

So Mang Max took the bass and did his thing. He even confirmed that the bass
guitar was made from Pampanga. By just merely looking at the screws. (

woah!)

Man! at this day Mang Max is too buy for his pick-up grand launching, but he still took time to check and fix the bass guitar.

Mang Max Resolution:
• Tightened the truss rod

• Lowered the action

• Replaced and fixed the non responsive volume knob

Now if you will gonna ask me how much did it took, When Mang Max told the price. Damn! (you gotta be kidding me.. I am expecting higher..) lets just say that Mang Max price is affordable.

I remember bringing this bass guitar at JB music, their reply was we dont fix that kind of bass guitar.. (

sad..)

He also showed us the demo of his Noiseless pickup.
Yeah! when I say Noiseless it is literally Noiseless vs a Fender Pickup.

He even allowed us to try his own Telecaster. It is quite heavy but the sound that it brings is totally different.

Kudos to this great luthier! So down to earth and humble..

Dont hesitate to deal with Mang Max. Everything is worth it. (kahit nabasa kami ng ulan

Gonna be seeing Mang Max perhaps at the end of the month to have my LP copy's string replaced and it's electronics checked, plus to have my strat copy set up.

panalo yung demo ni melo for the bass pickups and of course, nandun din si junjie of radioactive sago for a jam using his own electirc guitar pickups developed by mang max himself.

sarap din pala ng jam nila melo who did rock versions of oldies like beatles and a whle bunch of new wave songs!

sobrang tuwa ng mga audience kay mang max!

anybody has an idea kung magkano ang strat pickup set ni mang max? is it noiseless? ano ba ang tone character nun?
