Kudos to Forerunner Tech for organizing the first Mapex Drum Fest. Congratulations!

I arrived late because I had gigs last night and this morning (for a call center event), that's why I lacked sleep. But I arrived in time for Mar Dizon's performance spot (sorry I missed Paul's, Loubert's and Bea's performances). Attendance was great, and the atmosphere and the feedbacks are very positive. Obviously, the event was a success.

Another great thing was Mapex and Stagg products were on display and on sale, with valuable discounts only for that event. Sticks and cymbals were sold like hotcakes.

It was also my first time to actually hold and play Mapex drums. I've seen and heard Mapex drums, but I never had the chance to play them... not until earlier today. I inspected and tried out the Mapex Pro-M drums used by the clinicians, and they're quite impressive. I hope I can try out a fusion-sized Mapex kit someday. The Saturn kit looks sweet. And the Black Panthers?? Ooh they're really nice...

Great job! Especially to our roaring drumming bro JP Buduan. Cheers!

ayos talaga kanina ang saya dami pa matutunan!! na late nga lang ako konti kasi inindian ako ng kasama ko at hinanap ko pa. kaya hindi ko na abutan yung nagsabay pumalo si sir jp at bea. sumunod nun si loubert vidal tapos sila paul magat ng kabaong ni kamatayan. ang bilis nya nag wawala hehe

wow ang lupit ng mapex drum fest kanina....first time ko mag attend ng ganitong clinic ang tindi pala talaga...congrats to the organizers.... was blown away by bea!!! and all the other drummers who performed.....sir mar thanks sa autographed drumsticks!!!

Congratulations to Forerunner and our very own JIHAD master JP Buduan for a successful and spectacular event!

Not only was it a great experience seeing the pros and Senyor Mar hit the kit but also a great opportunity to meet and mingle with our fellow Pinoydrums members.

Thanks for the raffle MAPEX!

(congrats to Warner and Rainier as well! sinuwerte and Philmusic sa T-shirt!)

Surely the 2nd leg is not to miss!
