I mean, Dave got kicked out of Mentallica more than 23 years ago. I think the comparisons should end because both are great bands, and honestly I don't think Megadeth is Metallica Jr.

megadeth ako.. mustaine is like, ndi lumalaos. di kagaya ng metallica, the more tumtnda, the more nagiging crappy ang music. i don't hate metallica, pero mas gs2 ko lng tlga ang megadeth. mas gs2 ko ang riffs nila mustaine, and mga solos dn, ndi kc puro wah2 lng("black album" onwards).. hehehe

Mas Astig ang songs ng Metallica for me pero I cant deny na mas magaling talaga tao tao ang Mega Death...

every guitar thread has to have a metallica vs megadeth.

nwy, "rust in peace" is arguably the best heavy metal album yet.

ot: megadeth was using all marshall cabs (not sure about the power amp, and dave has always been using prophesy preamps) in their gig in ohio last weekend. glenn drover has the best lead tone, imo, in all of 'deth's guitarists, and he's using duncan 59.

mustaine was booted out before they recorded that album, so it's all kirk hammet. however, you will notice that hammet's lead work is reminiscent of mustaine's lead work in this album. it's almost like hammet just copied mustaine's solos. check out metallica's "the four horsemen" vs megadeth's "the mechanix".

i know four horsemen.

but i didn't hear the mechanix yet. i'll check that one out. i rarely listen to rock/metal songs even before but when i heard Kill Em All and Ride The Lightning, i was hooked.
