Curtis Novak makes JM-sized PAFs, as well as other pickups that require no mods to the body.

anybody familiar with the JCM 800 tone? Im trying to figure out kung sulit yung nabili kong pedal..kuha ba?

halos 1660 pesos lang to..with free na 1 spot type power supply and 5 picks..hahaha though di ko ginagamit kasi maingay..mas gusto ko kahit mabigat yung wall wart type yun ang tahimik..

Actually di ko na ginagamit gaano yung Zoom G3...bali primary purpose lang nya ngayon is yung LOOPER function at BACKING RHYTHM..hahaha nagbobonding pa ako with those analogs eh..and isa pa pag nakachain yung G3 humihina yung signal ng analogs sa harap niya..

though I like that ACDC crunch..ayoko masyado magtunog ACDC yung timpla na hinahanap ko,,sana nga may saturation/crunch switch to..para di gaano malutong...

medyo mahirap din ang rock scene dito daming foriegners nagtry na magpenetrate...kaso hirap padin..siguro culture thing..pero ngayon nagiging sophisticated na mga local musicians dito..tsaka ang dami ng shops na nagbebenta ng mga boutique items..and dahil dumadami nadin ang nakakaafford...

I'm a big big fan of the band and all I can say, Matt Skiba (guitars/vocals) have shown these offset guitars their 'other' possibilities. Check out his tone with these guitars on all his bands (Alkaline Trio, Heavens and his latest, Matt Skiba and The Sekrets). Really really awesome. Few of the reasons why I want an offset so bad. Haha

IMO..it's better to assemble an offset kesa bumili ng Squier
kung ung avri di pa rin FINE as wat they said a fine instrument
lalo na pa kya pag squier na basswood ang body
di fine kc ang gulo ng wirings sa loob
at madami ka pang iaadjust,upgrades at imomodify
bka pag nakabili kayo ng squier ipost nyo rin yan sa classified..

for me Im paying for the looks and the fun/novelty of having a Jag and a JM for less...and for occasional gigs and average guitar skills.... I dont care for tone woods that much..especially for the type of music I play..non technical playing..usually kaskasan lang..sabay talon o higa or luhod..hahaha

the main issue I think with these squires are how its built and put together..maaraing madaling mawala sa tono..or the fret edges are sharp..cheapo pots..and yun nga messy wiring and inferior parts...(but I heard the new squires especially classic vibes are built A-OK..) sanay naman ako sa ganitong problems as Ive been playing mid class guitars for the longest time..so yakang yaka na kung ano man problema ang lalabas...

By the way I saw the Vintage Modified Jazzmasters the one with concentric pots..medyo very Squire-ish....so sa baging models na ito..bawi bawi na looks palang..mas sulit with the trem piece and traditional details..

medyo corny nga yung STRAT style Jack..ughhh..hahaha

Agreed. It will end up being a back-up guitar at best. I've already got most of the tone spots covered with the Tokai Love Rock, G&L Asat Classic Tele, and the Pawnshop Mustang in the personal collection anyways.

If anything, those Squiers may work for home recording projects.
