condolence din hanggang ngayun d ako makapaniwala.

sunday ngpasetup ako saknya tapos parang ang bilis lang ng pangyayari pag setup nga testing ko tapos uwi agad halos d ko na xa nakausap

ksi ngmamadali din ako tapos nung tuesday nabalitaan ko patay na xa. maraming salamat sa yo sir rey idol d ko makakalimutan nung may pinatesting ka saken na guitara mo sobrang ganda ng tunog. salamt po sir.

kahit di ko relative si Mang Rey up to now masakit pa din sakin sa kalooban ko pagpanaw niya.. 3 years straight ako sa kanya nagpapasetup at nagpapamods ng gitara.... maraming kwentuhan at Aral akong natutunan sa kanya...

Really sad to know. Wala na tutulong sa akin pag may major major problem ako sa mga gitara ko, meron kaso ang layo nga lang. My deep condolences to his family, he is in good hands now. Tribute jam? San meron and kailan?

Very sad to hear this news. He was a quality guy and an intelligent craftsman. He was my main luthier for almost 7 years. I was in his shop about a week ago. Had a couple of guitars set up by him. Walang signs of weakness or anything. Very big loss for his family, friends, and the guitar community.

^ I second this. I only live in the Cainta area. Napaka convenient na may malupit na luthier malapit sayo. Bukod pa ron di rin matatawaran kaalaman nya sa gitara. Legit na craftsman. Condolence sa pamilya nya. Medyo magiging problema ngayon kung saan magpapa alagan ng gitara. Kung meron man, nasa malayo at mahal pa.

awts! hindi ko inaasahan na ganito ang mababasa ko

nagbukas ako ng thread about sir rey baka may bago siyang mods sa guitar or post ng another customer na satisfy sa gawa nya. sobrang shock talaga ako na "namahangina" na pala sya. Plan ko panaman sanang magpakabit ng PUP sa kanya.

sobrang humble at mabait ang taong eto.

Just heard the news from a friend who's also a forumer. I just told him about Jim's death and he told me about sir Rey's. I'm about to bring my new guitar to him this Dec.

mamimiss ko yung "pare" tsaka yung mga freebies din na binibigay niya pag magpapasetup ka like new strings, nuts, etc.

Paayos ko pa naman si Yana (Yamaha FG750M) may static noise kasi mahina pa ung pick up...
Paano na to? Siya pa naman pinakamalapit sa men Pasig area lang ako... Hay...
