sub crossover frequency?
« on: December 01, 2007, 11:36:02 AM »
hi,

what's the ideal sub crossover frequency po?  i'm just curious...  wanna know lang what you guys think.  it's hard to get good reliable answers from car audio guys, who are usually a bit deaf or close-minded.  no offense meant cause i'm also stubborn and want my music loud.  haha.

by the way, mine's a 15in sub in a sealed box for SQ.

thanks.

 :-) :-) :-)

Alam ko kung ano yung hindi kaya ng main speaker mo ireproduce sa bottom end.
Kung main speaker mo is hanggang 80Hz lang, Yung sub ang magextend nito all the way to let say 30Hz.

So kaylangan alam mo yung parmeters ng main speaker mo.

I hope this help. IMO  :-D

Most systems will start to have a bass roll off at around 40-60 Hz, that is the natural speaker roll off.
