in the long run, mas makakatipid ka pag kumuha ka ng shure. I thought i was 'saving' some money when i bought some beringher mics, cheaper nga at first but iba talaga ang tunog AT RELIABILITY ng shure mics, kahit mabagsak, maibato tumutunog pa rin....

nagtitipid ka pa sa sm57, eh yun na nga ang pinakamurang OK ng shure eh...

but to answer your question............ wala.

dude baka di ka pa makontento sa ibang cheaper brands, mag shure ka na lang, para sure. (corny)

dynamic pala yung sm57

makikisali na din sa tanong ha,

pwede bang gawing overhead mics ang sm57 (pang drumset)or mas ok ang "cheap" condenser mics?

di ko alam kung san ko nabasa pero yung gamit na mic ni bonno ng U2 (tama ba spelling?) sa concerts nila, sm58 din.

okey lang gawin OH mic yan. ganyan ang ginagawa ng mga ibang sound technician para mabawasan ang high frequency clutter sa mix.

binalikan ko lang ulit itong thread na to kasi bibili ako ng mic sa saturday eh.
hehe. sa wakas mahihiwalay na ang rehearsal studio sa recording studio.

since baby pa naman ang recording studio, at puro friends lang ang magrerecord, may iba na nagrerecord ng demo, ggamitin ko muna mga lumang mics dito (mga 1-year old na mics)

at dahil sa mga tips at reviews na binigay niyo sakin, sa sturday bibili ako ng mics. sa kababasa ng mga replies ninyo, ive decided na tatlong shure PG48 ang kukunin.

reasons:
.TIGHT ang budget, kukuha din kami ng drumset this sat eh.
.May napanood ako sa youtube na comparison ng SM58 sa mga PGseries. not bad ang PG series. sa totoo lang, kayang makipagsabayan ng c606 ng shure na less than 1000 lang. dapat lang alam mo ang mic placement.
.dahil sa mga nagsasabi dito na PGseries nalang ang kunin ko instead na behri. salamat.

by the time na makaipon, ibebenta ko ung iba dito para maka-upgrade.
