kung madami kang pera, magagaw mo both...hehehe

I know you would say that at for the record di mo ako kilala ROOKIEBOY. Tinawag kitang rookie at di lahat, IKAW LANG GET IT.

Thank God Motorhead is still successful.  They're an inspiration to many that looks don't matter.  Did ya see the mug on Lemmy?  What the hell is that growth on his face?  Now on to banging my head again with Ace of Spades.

If you are a musician or a real music lover, then looks don't matter.

Looking good doesn't hurt though. It makes you more sell-able.

If it allows you to get more people to listen to your music, then there should be no problem.

On the other hand, good looks without skills makes one more of an entertainer than a musician.

Hehe, gotta agree with BassCog on that one. I'd rather have Vai-like talent than Model-type looks any day of the week. Ganto gamitin yan. GO!". Way too much spent on looks, appearance, image, or whatever you wanna call it, and WAAAAAAAAAAAY too little time spent on honing their skills. Music is a craft, and there's a reason why the Music Scene is separate from the Fashion Scene (or ideally should be--dito walang line of demarcation, hence the number of POSERS out there). Ika nga nung character ni Orlando Jones sa movie na Drum Line: "If you don't have the discipline to learn your craft, then frankly, you don't belong here".  :-D

Cyempre great skills dapat.

When it comes to playing music, i dont really if i look like crap or dont. Kaya tayo tumutugtog, para sa music eh not for looks. Too bad most of the OPM bands now go for the looks.

Anyway just a thought. Mind you guys  :-)

Looks don't have anything to do with skill. Skill doesn't necessarily equate to popularity.

ang masa, superficial, siyempre a true musician's ideal is just to have everyone enjoy their music. unfortunately, that's not the case sa atin. if you want to be well liked by the masses, mag banda ka na puro pogi kayo. again, SUPERFICIAL ang masa.  :-D

Not necessarily true. I think the proper way to say it is that you present yourself properly. There's a lot of image work to be done in conjunction with your music if you really want to make it big.

Buti pa nung era na sumikat yung mga Juan Dela Cruz Band, Asin, Freddie Aguilar, Banyuhay Ni Heber, Coritha, Florante etc...Music Skills talaga yung dahilan bakit sila sumikat, not their looks. Ngayon kahit magaling ka at maganda kanta mo, kung di ka gwapo or maganda you're going down the drain talaga. Haay... :?
