RG model, i cannot remember kung ano yung exact model na yun something rg 3**.. a bit 3 years old and rusty yung guitar na binebenta niya noon way back 2006 pero nung nakausap ko xa benta daw niya around 18k negotiate ako kung pwede around pwede 15k. tapos ask ko kung ok pa fret life tapos kung may dings at scratches pero ayaw niya sabihin kung meron o wala. sabi niya kung sure akong bibilhin yung gear puntahan ko na lang daw sa condominium niya somewhere along roxas boulevard para makita yung gear. the problem is hindi ko pa nga nakikita yung gear bibilhin ko na agad?? tapos hindi ko pa natetesting kung ok yung pick up ng gear. pano ko bibilhin yun kung ang pick up nun tunog lata ng sardinas?? kaya nagdalawang isip talaga ako kung bibilhin ko nga yun tapos home court pa niya makikita yung gear? s/u/c/k dealership to. hindi na ako pumunta para mabili yung gear baka sapilitan pa ang mangyari.

bakit naman magiging sapilitan? di ka naman nya tututukan ng baril and force u to buy the guitar. he'll hand it to you, and you can test it, examine it, ask him about it. hes fair in that sense and he won't FORCE you to buy anything you're not up to buy. Nasayo nalang yon if he's a good enough salesman to grease you and make a pitch.

and in my opinion hindi naman siya kagaya ng other buy and sell dudes where they're desperate to sell their guitars. this is his living naman kaya he can afford to make potential buyers go to his house to make a sale. its like audiophile, jb, or yamaha in my opinion. the stores don't go to you and do meet ups to sell their guitars. and besides, tom's guitars are awesome naman kaya its a nice trip din to go to his place and see them!

6.5k for an mij is a good price IMO. last december nag abang ako ng maayos na mij for 5k dito sa philmusic wala akong nakita.

pag nagtetest ka ng gitara dapat talaga naka clean para dinig mo ang totoong tunog ng gitara.

wag lang kayo pa intimidate, kasi if you know your guitar..ipaglaban nyo rin, and sometimes you can get a good deal. just don't expect him to praise your photogenic LP when you bring it over to his place in trade of a greco.

never had a problem when i had a deal with him, ofcourse you'd expect him to want the better end of the deal but it's up to you if you'll give in.
