as for the grammar, i think they should allow straight filipino here. STRAIGHT FILIPINO. not text style filipino and maybe a little taglish lang. sa totoo lang, i'd greatly respect someone who spoke straight filipino if he or she hasn't mastered the english language. kung 'di mo kaya i-artiiculate sarili mo sa inggles, edi mag filipino ka, wala namang mali dun. ang di ko matiis, yung mga weird hybrid ng gayspeak/text talk. tipong "aq"...parang...dude isang letter na lang e...hehe

What bothers me, though, is that Tom doesn't seem to get reprimanded for his oft-incomprehensible posts. All these +'s and problematic usage of punctuation are starting to become totally irritating. The fact that he's allowed to do that  - while others get a warning immediately after an initial post - is beyond appalling.

Panggogoyo, for me, is lying. Period. If you sell your guitar to Tom at a sub-optimal price because you get easily intimidated by some Caucasian, that's your problem. If Tom tells you that your guitar is a POS and that it deserves a low price, it's all up to you to either give in or walk out on him.

Me too. Lalo na kung ginagamit mo lang pang marketing strategy to lure noobs into getting your product/item.

IMHO,may mga iba na ayaw siya sawayin kasi baka may magustuhan din sila sa mga binibenta ni Tom at hindi na makapag-transact sa kanya kasi tinira,kinutya o sinaway yung pagpo-post niya.

pero sana ma-update na yung rules sa classifieds at iba pang thread na di pa updated para walang palusot yung makukulet  , mas maganda and madali makita po kasi kung nasa loob ng specific topic rules kesa yung generalized.

di sana ako eepal dahil baguhan lang ako dito.but i dont see any replies from tom here defending himself.maybe he's too busy or he dont give a f@ck or he cant understand a thing or he thinks WE are pipitsugin and not worth his time.

ah, sinabi ko po wala sa rules ng classifieds kasi dinagdag sa rules ng GC yan some time ago so dun ko lang nakita, maganda kasi sana kung sa lahat ng rules nakalagay para uniform, so maganda rin po sana i-update yung ibang rules, kasi po kung sa announcements lang siya nakalagay at doon lang siya makikita, sana naka-link na lang po yung topic rules sa isang thread sa announcements stating general forum rules. Sencia na po forum fanatic pa lang  tambay lang sa GC at classifieds..

Yup so that is why maganda kung updated lahat ng rules ng bawat topic classifications, kasi hindi naman po lahat ng topics nabibsita ng madami. Sigurado mamimilosopo pa yung aleman pag pinagsabihan mo ng offense na wala sa topic rules..

And it's totally unfair to give him some slack just because some are scared to lose some good deals with him if ever they decide to do business with the guy. It's just really unfair. I've also noticed what titser marco pointed out weeks back and I'm glad this was pointed out. He's no exemption. Kawawa naman yung ibang contributing members sa forum who get tons of corrections pag sumablay sa isang txt speak post tapos sya pinababayaan lang na baliwin tayong lahat sa walang kakwenta kwentang pagtype sa forum.

It's not cuz he's German cuz I have German clients who can send emails with straight english and those guys live in Germany talaga so I don't see why he can't type properly... and he lives here.

And about the +'s, malabo lang talaga eh. kahit naman sa tagalog, english, kahit pa mapafrench or whatever, wala namang mga + used as punctuations eh. so it's not about him being this or that.

AFAIK, when i visited and dealt with him years back, aside from gtrs, he also buys and sells other stuff like cellphones and cameras. maybe he uses lotsa cellphones the way he uses lotsa gtrs hehe!!!funny thing is, with all those cameras and cellphones with cams, he doesn't bother posting pics of his items for sale..how ironic hehe.!

Do you guys really think the doing business through text is better?  If you think picking up the phone is asking too much, then you're not the "right" buyer the seller is looking for.

I actually PM'd Tom re: a strat.  Bilis sumagot, and he shared good info.  So far, based on the online exchange, he seems like a straight shooter.

just want to ask those who know, does he overprice the items he's selling, i mean unjustifiably overpriced?   lets say an authentic PRS usa or a Gibson usa...
