What might be the possible problem?

guys, pag binubuksan ko ung CPU eh panay buzz/boot sound lang naririnig tas walang display (nagbblink lang ung monitor).

suspektsa ko may problema RAM nito. Kasi last year nun cnubukan ko magpalit ng ram eh i experienced desame problem (walang display). without knowing na d sira pala ung nabili ko na RAM.

anyway, the CPU's specs are:

ASUS P4U800-X
256 MB DDR400 Ram.

thanks. (hopefully hndi ung videocard ung problema)

definitely the ram or processor. depende kung anong type ng beep at kung gano kahaba yung beep.

pag short beeps, video card.

Baka nga me topak yung Vcard mo tol.

Kapag mahaba na beep, usually RAM yun

Kapag short beeps vcard.

What i do is ihahanap ko talaga....hehehe

tnx guys... long beeps sya eh.. actually processor ng friend ko un. i was just trying to help him.  :-D hehe..

Award BIOS ba yan? Here are the beep codes:

1long, 2 short - Video adapter error - Either video adapter is bad or is not seated properly.  Also, check to ensure the monitor cable is connected properly.

Repeating (endless loop) - Memory error - Check for improperly seated or missing memory.

1long, 3short -   No video card or bad video RAM - Reseat or replace the video card.

High frequency beeps while running - Overheated CPU - Check the CPU fan for proper operation. Check the case for proper air flow.

Repeating High/Low - CPU - Either the CPU is not seated properly or the CPU is damaged. May also be due to excess heat. Check the CPU fan or BIOS settings for proper fan speed.

alam mo, what i do is, tanggalin ko lahat tapos kabit isa tpos on, pag-ok cya dagdag ng piyesa hanggang sa makuha ko ung tunog, edi ung huling kinabit ko un ang may sala...hehehehehehhe :-D

Try mung alisin un RAM mo tas balik mo or kung meron kang iba pang ram palitan mo, or try mong tangalin un vcard mo tas balik mo basta make sure na swak lahat ng piyesa sa mga slots, kung puno naman ng alikabok try mong linisin haha

Malamang na RAM ganyan din ang symptoms ng di ko nakabit ng maganda yung RAM ko many beep sounds tapos yung monitor ng blink lang yung light.
