I hate his version of Chicago's "Hard Habit To Break".. Pilit na pilit eh..
I never like this guy.. Pero ok sya mag host hehehe... I miss the M.A.D.
Every friday kasi musicians guest nya and I look forward to that every week noon...

I think I heard this version on radio, he sounds like he is a bit flat on the tune..kinda irritating.....or baka si jed yung narinig ko, sorry to those who are into this kind of music, I just don't really listen to philippine pop radio...

Never liked Martin Nievera. But I hear his son Robin Nievera is a pretty good guitar player in a John Mayer-esque way. Anyone hear him play?

really?  Robin?

I know "he" wanted to learn to play guitar.  I didn't know he already could and might be already good at it.

I had the chance to record with Martin Nievera around 1996 for a commercial jingle. He was not that perfect in recording we still had to edit in protools. But nonetheless he's still a good singer.

rare din yata yung good singer w/ good "ears" in our mainstream pool.

singers like sarah geronimo, champ of hale, rico, etc...(count me in too. - no good in singing, poor hearing pa!)

Martin is undoubtedly the best male singer/ balladeer in our country. Way better than Gary V., in fact. A lot of celebrities in the States were totally floored by Martin when they watched the fellow in his Las Vegas stint.
