Here's a location map of Hobbit House.

We're there this Saturday 26 January -- drop in and scope out the place.

Still confirming tickets/entrance fee -- looks like in the vicinity of P300.

great map! :)

Wow, that was a lot of fun last night.

Incredibly great to see no empty chairs in the house, standing room only, and a line of people out the door trying to get in! Inspiring to see the place packed just about all the way until the last band. Medyo na-shock yata and Hobbit House -- naubusan ng peanuts, popcorn, at iba-ibang pica-pica.  :-D

Every band that played was truly outstanding. That had to be some of the nastiest, grittiest, meanest, and most soulful guitar slinging in recent memory. Too many folks to thank -- y'all know who you are. But special mention to Gerry, John and Rakrakan/Rebolusyon Records.... that had to be the first multi-band "festival" that ever actually ran on time and in sequence!

Everyone involved fully agrees...... on to the 2nd edition very soon!!!

Watch out for Bluesfest #2 right here in the next few weeks!  8-)

twas our pleasure to be part of the 1st Bluesfest. It felt good to be involved in a blues show in Manila after taking the Blueskrieg train up south and north of Luzon...

Kudos to Andy and The Blue Rats for starting the Bluesfest. Hats off to Pidoy and the hobbits for handling the massive surge of people. Big shoutout to the following:

- the bands Soul Benders, Plug, Kulukati, Snakecharmer (welcome back), The Blue Rats, Jun Lopito and Diamond Dogs, Mr Crayon and Alex of Hukkah
- RJ UR 105.9 for the radio plugs
- Pidoy and Hobbit House crew
- Howlin Dave for the energetic emceeing
- Direk for running a tight show
- Jonathan for the video coverage
- and May for ensuring that everybody got paid, hehehe.

What a fantastic evening of soulful blues and rock n roll. Sa uulitin.
