hehe, oo nga.kahit groove-oriented version sana, masyadong pang-matanda yung BT, e nagpapabata pa naman ako.. :-D

Do you mean like this bro?  :-D

Extrapolation's twisted arrangement of Giant Steps:
youtube:
multiply: http://carlosjesena.multiply.com/video/item/151/Extrapolation_-_Giant_Steps_John_Clotrane_Cover

A funky version of Miles Davis' "So What":

We don't know if it can still be called jazz. We won't know if we don't try it I guess  :-P

Enjoy guys

Both vids from Extapolation's gig last night at Mag:Net bonifacio high street 3 Generations of Jazz Show (Featuring Johnny Alegre-Affinity, Extrapolation and Four Corners)

Lakas ng aircon sa likod namin, we were all having tuning problems  :-P

happening stuff carlos! i like how you interpreted howe's funk rocked "giant steps". daunting task, you guys as a unit did well.

same goes for "so what", looks like we both dig the mvp version, i've wanted to do it that way too. IMHO, garsed whips both lane and gambale in the butt, tone and taste-wise on their take. he just shines all throughout.

@tyrone- nice take on giant steps too. it takes giant steps indeed to tackle those mighty changes, and i like how your lines have coherence over the changes. very mature and tasteful.

keep up the good work both of you, follow your heart's will, and you music will without doubt be good  :-)

thanks man. Garsed was my favorite solo of all three on that track. Favorite tone ko of the three. Well, maybe I'm just justifying my use of an MI Audio Tubezone with Garsed's identical lead pedal weapon of choice!!! HAHAHA!

Those are both works in progress, we're changing them both up a bit. Like there's a break in So What that wasn't there in MVP or we removed those unison stabs in the head in Giant Steps (Actually, tinanggal kasi di namin kinayanan hahaha!). Stay tuned  :-P

Sir Anton, where/when's your next gig?

you were using a tubezone on those clips? if so, WOW! you dialed it in nice and fat.

next gig is at the national GAS shebang on the 14th. we've got some nice tunes slated for the event... really nice ones
