Good day everyone.. I know I am a noob.. pero I heard in Myx na may nagsabi ng Poser Metal Genre?? naguluhan lang ako.. hehehe.. Nagsearch ako sa yahoo.. I cant remember those website but among of the bands that were included were As I lay Dying, Devil wears Prada etc.. Curious lang po ako mga sir..

kasi wala akong alam sa ganito.. curious lang po talga..

Can anyone comment about this and share his or her opinion?? thx!!

don't pay attention to them. if MYX knew anything about music, they'd try to NOT pattern their show after every 80's MTV sitcom show that ever aired. so, yeah, touche.

haha MYX . credible pa ba yan? jologs station naman yan ah.
Malamang kinuha naman nila yan sa mga iban music news clips.
And besides why take the station seriuosly if they play less metal vids or nearly none and more of the pop jologs type. It just shows hindi sila credible or knowledgable kung yung pinag usapan ay mga metal topics. Kung ang news tungkol kay britney spears, Chris. Bautista, Papaya Dance, Kris Aquino etc. yan. . dyan sila expert and reliable info hehe

they shouldn't be. i mean, go see these bands and then decide if they are clones...i've seen AILD and they are tight, very tight, as a live band. I saw them before the toured with bigger festivals like Ozzfest and Warped and they've gotten better over the years.

OT: oyeah! sobrang tight nga.. as in, ganda ng tunog pag live, the drummer is amazing., nick hippa is one hell of a metal guitarist..

OK, myx is a mainstream music channel who caters to "pseudo subculture" music... along with publications like Pulp magazine...

having said that, yes they are not reliable, and they are only good for entertainment purposes, not as a source of reliable musical information.

and IMO, tose bands they mentioned are not poser metal, they however have elements of metal that are sooo far diluted, they shouldn't be considered metal. let us just call them "pop rock" bands... that would be a better definition, considering the amount of records they sell.

di ko alam kung papano nyo na ggrasp ang concept ng mga yan.. may specific boundaries ba? kase kung wala, wala ding katapusang mga pangalan yan. andami mong maiimbento

sa states, yung mga taong lumaki talaga sa totoong metal eh ayaw nila sa bandang tulad ng as i lay dying, as blood runs black, all shall perish, etc..hindi ko alam kung ano ang rason pero dahil din siguro sa imahe nila.

ayan siguro yung sinasabe mo, may mga critics talaga yung mga ganyang klaseng metal bands.
