I also used to own a Genesis M314F back in the very early 90's. It was actually good and served its purpose of being played over "inuman" jams and small gatherings. I wasn't part of the Y music company yet then and was very naive to know which ones are good and bad. When I was gifted with one of the earliest Washburn MG30s (US inspired), that was when I had to let go of M314F and gave it to church...

i used to have a Genesis M-315F, my high school graduation gift and it was my main axe for 6 long years...got its pickups changed to a Dimarzio Steve Special, scalloped the higher end of the neck by myself...really loved that guitar like my bestfriend...until it was stolen by some stupid jerk...will never forgive that guy...
