nice..between the buried and me, but the vocals isnt really working out for me, the guitarist is insane but the vocals?errrrr, that just my opinion...try blotted science, cynic and not to mention canvas solaris that has just recently released their new album entitled The atomized dream...

although ndi lahat ng songs,consider prog pa rin sila....
tsaka ung mga bands kc naun,iba-iba ung mga influence nila,kaya naghahalo-halo ung tunog...
ndi katulad nung mga early bands db? the best sila!!! Pink Floyd fave ko... Prog Metal... Dream Theater,the best.... ehehe....

ang nakakatawa sa current incarnation ng progressive music eh karamihan eh pare-pareho ang tunog. ano ang "progressive" doon? parang mas appropriate ata na "technical operatic rock / metal" ang tawag, dahil karamihan naman eh yun lang ang ginagawa.

yung prog nung 70's WAS progressive for its time. kaso 2008 na. ang prog ngayon eh dapat mas out there, mas pushing the envelope, mas malabo... hindi kailangang blatantly experimental, kaso kailangan tinutulak nito ang hangganan ng pagkaintindi ng tao sa kung ano ba ang musika at ano ba ang ingay lang. kaso actually medyo stagnant na ang mga tinatawag na prog ngayon.

don't take me wrong, meron pa ring mga prog na progressive talaga. kaso yung nangyayari eh pinagtatalunan kung prog ba ang band A o kaya band B, eh ang pinakaprogressive na ginawa nila eh kumopya sa ibang bandang prog na ang label. ano yun?
