Can't speak for Cueshe and 6CM, but Sponge Cola slogged it through gigs. We had gigs with them when they were still starting out, and even if it were a school night for them, they would play if it were possible. They paid their dues.
In fact...a lot of these bands people love to hate have worked their asses off - probably not bands you watched while they were paying their dues, but they put in the time. bihira ang banda na totally new (unless you count Rivermaya, but even then, some of their members were already in bands even before Rivermaya v.1 got formed).
So, rather than hate these people, why not learn from them - what to do, what not to do, and what you can do that's new. Griping about something you have no control over - and, even more funny, is not even your problem, really - is pointless.
It's okay to not like their music or their image, but it sure is rude to hate them for it. There's a big difference right there. Unless of course, it's okay for you to turn things around and have people hate you with the same level that you show others.
