Im planning to buy an rj sg if not on christmas then on summer.. kasi hirap magaral.. hehe.. can anyone tell me or any reactions regarding sa sg copy nila?? I heard that their body is made out of mahogany.. maganda ba ang tunog??  ano marerefer nyo sakin aside from an rj sg copy?? thx!

i tested their sg., ok naman siya., xempre it's a copy kaya mas maganda talaga yung gibson or epi., pero based on reviews., malapit ang tunog nya sa epi., halos pareho., pag napalitan ung pickup neto., sure na magiging mas maganda., anywei., rj les paul copies ay ang pinakamaganda sa mga ginagawa nila., try mu rin., pag punta mu naman dun., friendly staff nila e., papasubok sau lahat ng gitarang gusto mo., then tsaka ka magdecide., hehe

dami ko kasing nakikitang epi sg dito sa philmusic na binebenta na 10k lang..  kaya d ako makapagdecide talaga.. kung rj sg o epi nlang..

Revive ko lang po ito mula sa hibernation haha, interested kasi ako sa RJ LP ok padin po ba mga LP nila hanggang ngayon? noob guitarist and forumer here. Wala po talaga ako idea na they make good guitars pala. Ok na ok po ba yung sa LP nila? gusto ko po kasi yung sinasabi po ng iba na medyo katunog na siya ng totoong LP eh.

yep.maganda ung rj bro. very gig worthy at mabait ung mga tao sa stores.(some) :-Dquality wise,id give RJ guitars a thumbs up. i think they use d'addario strings also. so that means no need to change the strings once you get the guitar or if its not your tone or guage,di yeah change.haha.but overall,RJ guitars are really impressive. sometimes when people talk about "local" axes,people tend to loose interest in them. but it looks like RJ has shown us otherwise! korean parts too. so its technically not local.

ahh thank you po sa info! pero nag search po ako kanina, tapos sabi po nila nag decline na daw yung mga gawa nila ngayon eh. gusto ko po kasi sana ng RJ LP na medyo heritage cherry sunburst yung kulay, eh yung available na kulay na lang ata nila ngayon (ayon sa nakita ko sa site nila ngayon) ay plywood brown haha.

Umm, may problem po ako eh di ko po alam yung sinasabi ninyong test kasi pag tumugtog ako ng electric guitar parang pare pareho sound nila sakin. Para bang mag lilight up utak ko pag naramdaman kong ok ung gitara? di ko po talaga alam kasi kung paano yung testing na sinasabi ninyo po.

in that case you need the help of someone you can trust, someone who's exposed with LP's and willing enough to accompany you to the store and do the testing of the guitars.

That's definitely a complicated question to answer. From the wood works to how it was set up alone would require some experience on your part to make a good assesment, that's why i suggested you go find someone with good experience.

Oh, charvel naman po ito. Ang electric guitar ko po ngayon charvel jackson na may floyd na di ko po alam kung anong model. Na tratrauma na po ako sa mga floyds dahel para sa isang beginner na katulad ko nahihirapan na po akong sumabay sa maintenance na kailangan niya.

Kaya nagtatanong tanong po ako dito tungkol sa mga RJ LP dahel parang gusto ko pong bumili na lang ng bago na kahet pang practice lang naman po. Sana may makapag bigay pa ng feedback bout po sa mga RJ LP na ginagawa these days, kasi po kagaya ng sabi sa mga nabasa ko medyo nag decline na daw po ang mga gawa ng RJ ngayon.

I see, thank you for the tip sir. Pero yung quality po ba ng woods nila ganun pa rin? sabi po kasi parang di na daw katulad nung mga dating RJ LP eh. And selling price po ng RJ LP (based sa website nila) ay 7k php pero decent na po kaya yun? And may mga set neck daw na RJ LP that is priced at 9k php ++.
