It sure is not versatile. Not to mention boring. Parang para sa tao na walang imagination.

Come on! Neck pickups are useful!

Bro, to tell you one thing, vocalist lang siya, he's just doing the rythm parts of their songs. So he doesn't need other pickups. He's not like the vocalist of Coheed that does solo parts.

"Parang para sa tao na walang imagination."
- Bro, he has Imagination, a wide one. If he doesn't, then why would he put that Pythagoras carving on his guitar? It means something and he's the only one that knows the reason.

I'm just giving extra information.

It looks nice. I'm not really a fan of the band and only heard a couple of songs that they play on the radio. I like the carving, the white one looks more appealing. Nice touch with the red volume knob too! The black looks a bit gothic. I want to hear it in person though.

So yeah, he doesn't need anything but a bridge pickup, therefore it's a not versatile, boring guitar.

Ok so it's an explorer shape with dulled out horns and a griffin carving. So how can you say that carving entails imagination when you don't even freaking know what it means?

Pythagoras this Pythagoras that (are you actually saying that griffin is named Pythagoras? ) , in my opinion, it's dull and lacks imagination.
But that's my opinion.

You WERE asking for opinions, right? Hahaha. I don't even see how you could begin to refute what I could possibly say about this guitar based on a picture.

I don't know, but why don't you ask him? It's a custom guitar so think outside the box.

Parang, sige salpakan mo nga ng ganito yan tapos lagyan mo nito. Ok na to type attitude.

Nothing special, just stick to the basics hehehe. Furniture?

Lead guitarist ng FOB bridge pickup lang gamit... walang tone knob... siguro nagrerely na lang siya sa amps, effects and rigs na gamit niya...

Jared Leto is not a man of Guitar. It's just his signature guitar, there must be a reason why he put up that kind of design.

I really don't know how you see this guitar, but I see the guitar in a different way. I find the shape awesome because it's a rare kind of Explorer. And the carved design, I find it nice to look at. All in all I like this guitar because it has no duplicate or other bands using this kind of guitar, it's the only one you'll see. So gusto ko siya dahil "Kakaiba" siya.

Boring finish, I don't get the griffin. And yes, it was quite lame to dull out the Explorer horns. And should have done more effort on the fingerboard, at least put some inlays that would match the griffin-thing. And I thought it was something geometric since it's a Pythagoras guitar.

haha, onga sana triangular yung shape. though I don't see anything wrong with having a guitar with just a bridge humbucker and a volume knob. EVH assembled and used one extensively, and nobody seemed to tell him "bakit walang neck pickup?". Or maybe some people did, pero after hearing him play, hindi na sila nag complain

Well yeah, I like to have neck pups. But hindi naman para sa walang imagination. Ehehehe! Marty Friedman did the best stuff of his career with a Jackson Kelly with one hum!  :-D

personally, i like the dulled out horns. other than that i think the guitar is boring.

But if I'm going to have a custom with that body shape I'd have these specs:
1. lose the f*cking griffin
2. install a neck pup
3. have custom inlays
4. place bindings
5. change the t-o-m to floyd rose.

 :-D
