Hello sa lahat.
Following the success of the last EB at Capone's, we plan to make the Pinoydrums EB/Swapmeet a much more regular event for all of us. Maganda sana kung meron tayong pangalan para dito para mas masaya.

Please feel free to post your suggestions on this thread.

Initial suggestions include:

1. Pinoydrums Festival
2. Pinoy Drummer Festival

Naisip ko lang, the word festival somewhat implies that it's an annual event. Tulad nung Modern Drummer Festival na once a year lang ginagawa. Maganda sana kung at least quarterly tayo magkita-kita. Ayos ba sa inyo yon? Kahit hindi masyadong seryosong pangalan o imbento na salita, basta something we can call our own.

Madami nang ideas na nabubuo for our next EB's, abangan niyo nalang soon.

In the meantime, isip-isip muna tayo ng magandang pangalan. Post niyo lang anytime.

nice suggestion sir mark! and the pinoydrums multiply site is a great idea.

i think, since the name "pinoydrums" is so familiar to us already and it is indeed catchy, i suggest we go with your first suggestion, Pinoydrums Festival. it has a positive, celebratory feel to it.

Until now, wala pa ding updates eh... mas ok sana kung imemerge yung idea nyang "Pinoydrums first drum show" with our "Pinoydrums Festival" para matuloy na tlga yung mga plans... And mas maganda yung preparations...salamat po... Cheers!!!

Sana nga maging regular na yung mga ganitong events...

dapat nga regular na nagkikita kita ang mga pinoy drummers kasi sigurado magkakasundo ang lahat at syempre sobrang saya nun.

para maturing na brotherhood talaga kasi yung iba may conflict sa ibang drummers. meron din na di fair ang treat sa isat isa... naiintindihan ko na Pinas lang uso ang VIP pero sana di ito mauso sa mga drummers tulad natin kasi tayo tayo lang din nagkakasundo dahil nga pare pareho ang interes natin.

My vote goes to Pinoydrums Festival. Kinda like Comic Con ang dating nya eh. I think si Mr. Zach Lucero has a plan rin dati.

Parang ang grand ng "Pinoydrums Festival". What if "PinoyDrumsFest"? As in one word lang, para parang pangalan talaga siya. Same elements (pinoydrums + festival), pero iba ang dating.

Quarterly is good... so that will be every 3 months? its all good.... i vote for pinoydrumfest. kasi kung bubuuin yung pinoydrum festival masyado ng mahaba... But if pinoydrumfest... one word lang... pero may dating.... pasok na.... Well still your choice to make... basta keep me posted kung kelan willing ako tumulong sa sa activities... para bongga... then open to the public... so that everybody can watch... malay natin dahil sa activities na ganyan may makita tayo na mga unsung drummer magagaling talaga na nakatago... ayus yan. keep it up....

For me, semi-annually lang dapat.... May and January, or March and October, para sabay sa bakasyon at Oktoberfest (sponsor idea!). Baka madilute ang kaastigan kapag masyado frequent... di na siya "special". Pag less frequent, each one will be big, so mas exciting puntahan. Baka maubusan din tayo ng special guest performers if it's quarterly. And, malamang mas madali kumuha ng sponsors or exhibitors if the event is "special".

pinoydrumfest sounds good...simple...

why not make it more of a masterclass thing? may featured drummer show...tapos end of the year we can have a modern drummer type festival and christmas party with a raffle of drum stuff, and donation of old stuff to charity in one night. masaya na tayo tapos may tinutulungan pa
