kaya ganun pickups ko, kasi i want a consistent tone everytime i play. (yeah i know i know, beats the purpose of having many guitars kung iisa lang naman tunog na hinahabol ko parati ) well, looks like i got what i wanted. magkakalapit ang tunog ng guitars ko.

next time i'll try to record clips of my other LP. para magkaalaman na talaga.

i see, narra top i havent tried that wood before. i can see the cost breakdown too i heard he's the only one (and some help from his son?) that makes the guitar so it makes it a full time job lol, so his time should be worth the money cool.

i just get mine cheap because its factory produced with luthiers of course plus the cnc machines.

so anyway i would love to see more rufo work. please take better pictures guys para ma justify yung quality i saw that 7string in the first few pages of this thread that was neat

i have a gsa370 the was skimmed by a luthier in dgte, yes panipisin is possible

finally!!! after several weeks of delay, natapos din ang aking 2nd guitar. matagal na naming project ito ni Mang Max, hybrid body na sarili kong design. presenting the Iceplorer. 

here are the specs:

- James Hetfield's Ken Lawrence explorer headstock
- Phil. mahogany body
- 3/4 inch carved maple top
- set neck construction
- natural maple body edge binding
- MOP inlays
- macassar ebony (kamagong) neck and fingerboard
- 24 3/4 inch scale
- Burny VH-1 neck pickup / Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup

first time ni Mang Max gumamit ng maple sa guitar. pinagaya ko yung PRS style na natural maple lang yung binding. carved yung maple top niya, 3/4 inch sa thickest portion tapos may radius na pa-carve papuntang dulo. the guitar looks like a neck-thru, but NO!!! set neck long tenon lang yan. pinagawaan ko lang ng patong na kamagong sa likod para mag-mukhang ganun.

i can honestly say na malaki ang improvement ni Mang Max. comparing the Iceplorer with my V, noticeable yung mas ginanda nung pagka-pulido ng gawa.

hehehe! actually, napaisip din ako nung natural finish pa siya na iwanan ko ng ganun. kaso matagal ko ng pangarap yung magkaron ng natural maple binding sa guitar.

awitee, i saw your guitar's body yesterday btw. mas maganda yung yellow narra top na gawa ni mang max kaysa dun sa red one. mas bagay sa tele shape.

I talked to mang Max a couple of days ago, he said he replaced the body w/ a new one. He didn't like the former cuz he's not content w/ the result & he knew you might not like it as well. Konti na lang bro.
