I loved Make Yourself as well!! Sila naman ng Morning View ang favorite ko. I watched Incubus when they played here in Manila for their A Crow Left of The Murder Tour! Row 39 if I remember correctly. That was one of the best concerts I've EVER been to (not that I've been to a lot, anyway). If I'd choose to listen to 5 bands/artists in my lifetime, kasama ang Incubus sa list ko together with The Beatles and Foo Fighters.
Siguro since ngayon mas magaling na kumanta si Brandon Boyd, he made use of his newly developed vocal range in their songs. Wag kayo mag alala, pag nagdeteriorate na yung boses niya, feeling ko babalik at babalik sila sa funk roots nila ala Fungus Amongus. Sana lang di bumagal yung kamay ni Mike E.
Anyway, about the bassist, Ben Kenney, a lot of people seem to dislike his style compared to Dirk Lance (who's had personal issues with the band then...diba nga there were speculations that the song Sick Sad Little World was dedicated to him?). But listen to Ben Kenney's solo album called "Maduro". Mabibilib din kayo coz he did that album all by himself (in his basement no less) ala Dave Grohl dun sa first Foo Fighters album, and if I may share my opinion, that album rocks. He's a gifted poet and a skilled musician, having a brilliant command of the drums, the guitar, the bass, and his own voice. I'd choose him over Dirk Lance anytime.
