death magnetic is actually pretty solid. the cd mix sucks ass big time. sobrang compressed at harsh. yung gh3 mix maganda narin kahit papano, bitin lang sa highs. konting eq lang, swabe narin. pero grabe, anlayo nung 2 mixes sa dalawa. panalo yung sa gh3.also, on the topic of cliff burton vs. rob trujillo: i shall forever hold cliff burton in high regard, even for the sole reason that riff in "for whom the bell tolls". bottomline is, technique doesn't mean crap if you can't apply it in writing good songs. and wondering about what-ifs like "what if rob became metallica's bass player during their 80's heyday" is a moot point. no one can tell if rob or cliff would've been the
best fit (if there is such a thing), or even if it matters. i'd like to think people here are better than the blabbermouth.net or whatever metal site kiddies. so yeah, pointless arguement ito.
