Hello jepoy

I saw the pics and the place of your previous workshop. I think the place is very small -PIMP- and teaching these guys-assuming 20 attendees will make the sala room very very humid. Learning curve might decrease as time goes on. Remember summer pa rin sa May 10. Sorry I wither in hot weather.

As my suggestion I dont know if you read my 2 PM to you and I dont have any reply for days that we can use LCD projector-i've got one- so that the attendees can see how it was done in  big screen. Also my suggested price of 300 hundred for who will register week prior to the seminar and 500 for the main event. I suggest place like merced in quezon city 1k pesos lang yung room dun na aircon whole day subject to free yung room kung magorder ka ng worth 4-6 k na food.

Also the word "Sponsored  by" if we have sponsor for this event can we have a free workshop? since we are all bombarded by their product specifications and capablity and all of us will come up dreaming big to own that mojo we saw actually there's cheaper alternative naman. Honestly in OUR world once a new product is introduced the people who will exposed to this new product are being paid pa nga. Baka pwedeng  ipa set up yung gadget on the other room and people can visit it of they are interested for the product. I believe hindi pwedeng pagsabayin yung importance ng lecture while tinkering with this gadget all at the same time. Baka mangapa rin yung speaker natin using these gadgets.

Did you talk with each other or meet already how you are going to do it especially the topics to be tackled? Kailangan malinaw sa sikat ng araw yung mga topics para we expect  waht to learn or we reserach the topic prior to the event also para you can entice more atendees.

Heres my suggested topics.
1. "On the road recording" this is how our company produce song.
2. TO auto tune or repeat the recording (Like using antares or melodyne)
3. virtual instruments vs live instruments which one do you choose (para hindi na i tackle yung pag mic ng drums by theory na lang ng panoramic ng drums sa mix)
4. Polishing the tracks vs re do it  again (especially in the vocals) (removing ambient noise) (removing pop and click even in the most delicate location)
5. Plug ins or not to plugins (using compressor reverb, delays, etc)
6. Producing music the songwriter (stingy) way.
7. You have the produced music. Then What? (Like OMB licensing, joining contest, promoting yourself, submitting your fully produced demo to recording company whos who, joining Ourstage, john lennon songwriting contest)

Lasty can we have more speakers with Kit coronel para mas marami kaming matutunan.. Can you invite mike pedero to give a talk? I knew also one producer arranger who can give a talk.

Pls copy paste the attendees from the thread I started to this thread Ive got their contact with me so Iwill not visit that  thread i will straight to your thread.

Lynman

I think what we should do is post some sort of "syllabus" so we know what will be tackled.

I would prefer to keep the topics short and simple like what was initially planned by the organizers.  4 main topics which the speakers will talk about or demonstrate.  We will practically be together for only 6 hours so I reiterate that we keep it pure and simple.

Somehow, I have to agree. A syllabus would mean some lengthy theories which could bore everyone's brains out. I was thinking more along these lines... "so you got a pc, a soundcard and some software and you wanna record... what to do next?" (although we did tackle these in workshops 1 and 2)

Let's make it very hands on. I want the attendees to show what they already know, then we can tailor the workshop so that we can show what you really need to know.
Sonar 4.04PE/5.2PE/7.02PE/8.31 PE, Project 5 v2.5.1, EmulatorX 1.5, Cubase SL2, Ableton Live 7.14,  Intel Q6600 MSI P43 Neo 4Gb Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800, Emu 1820m, Yamaha DSP Factory, Terratec DMX 6fire

Tama ka dyan, Senor.

We also need to have a feel of the participants - whether they may be in a level of basic understanding muna to really advanced desktop recording techniques and everything in between. Just like how you guys did it twice in a row before.

If this is how it's going to work, then I am joining as a participant. Am honored to personally hear from the wisest ones.

Palalagyan ko na rin ng metalcore yung Kramer ko.  1 year overdue. OK lang ba Senor BASF?  (he-he, sorry OT)

salamat po sa mga reply. ok naman po sakin yung ganun. i think na mas marami ang matututunan ng mga participants if live and with hands-on yung mga pro sa seminar since it is a pc recording. i forgot to notice na mayron po palang 4 topics na naka-set na. sorry po.  nice to know that we are updated :-D
