-replaced whole electronic system (Stock Fender Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Pickup Set with S-1 Swithcing) including pickguard with an EMG DG20 David Gilmour Pro Series Set (EMG SA Set;EMG SPC and EMG EXG Active EQ Switches;Pearloid Pickguard)
-Replaced stock Fender Stainless Steel Saddles with Graphtech Ferraglide Saddles.
-Will replace the stock nut with a Graphtech TusQ Nut which have been in my possession for more than a year already (tamad magkabit hehe). :lol:

I installed a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck position and a Duncan Distortion in the bridge position and installed black top hat knobs. I replaced all the cream plastic parts including the pickguard with black. :evil:
I will replace the stock tuners to locking tuners soon... :-D

Mr Gabe Ascalon had extras so he gave me one. I don't know exactly what it does but it did modify my tone significantly after I installed it.
To think I was a skeptic about the scalarizer myth myself prior to installing one. IMO it does do exactly how Mr BAMF advertises them to, much to my surprise nga eh.
I guess you'd have to try one and hear it for yourself to make a judgement on what it does. :D :D

here's my custom strat:
as informed by the previous owner, this is an elegee custom strat.
i've replaced most of the previously installed hardware and electronics with the following:
1) fender string tree
2) stainless steel pickguard and neckplate screws
3) allparts: gotoh tuners, pickguard (custom fit), tremolo unit, 5-way switch, switch tip and knobs
4) pickup set from an mij fender '57ri strat
5) potentiometer set from an mij yamaha r'nroller strat with orange cap
6) korean strat jackplate and generic input jack
7) re-wired the second tone control to bridge pickup.
i've never met sir jon (elegee) but i am impressed with his work on this guitar. :-)

so hindi ko alam kung anong guitar tlga to pero meron din ako nakikita sa sta.mesa na mga ganito eh kaso maliit ung horns. btw ung mga horns neto extended nalang.
pero ok din ung maong concept mo ah. isipin mo lang pano mo i finish.. hehe akin kasi clear lang na spraypaint para hindi mag wear agad ung duct tape pati ung finish. (oo may finish pa yan na mukang worn metal kaso malabo ung pics.)
dami ko natutunan dito mga sir... kamagong is ebony?!? daaamn! ahaha... :lol: still a noob talaga when it comes to tagalog versions of these type of woods...
btw guys, i had the chance to use the custom g of sir ronald (RJUberjam) and it really screams like hell... perfect yung SD screaming demon (bridge) sa guijo (rosewood?) body nya... ang haba ng sustain for a bolt-on neck... solid body ito mga sir so its pretty heavy but it definitely gives that warm tone vs. hallow bodies... pup selection HB to SC and vice versa... sd jb-jazz yung neck kaya swak na swak kapag naka SC for blues/funk! crunchy! sabay balik sa HB to metal!... definitely a keeper! iba pala talaga ang custom g... GAS! :evil:
for now, may project kami ni sir ron for my own custom g that resembles a bernie rico draco... :evil: and the hunting begins...

yun din po iniisip ko yung pawais..pawisin ako... pero yung glue na ginamit ko, wood glue pero hindi kumakapit ng todo sa paint, meaning pwede ko po sya tanggalin anytime, and brush and pabango na lang pang linis...ahhh..hehe ayos un ah..well post nyo lang ung experience nyo po after gig or pawis practice kung ano masasabe nyo.hehe. :-D

version of herli to be honest 1 failed, i could let you know perfect inlays and fretboard was made, but the headstock wasnt that pointy and the area for the trussrod was too big, i can post it if you want

i only used a wet towel - paint thinner-induced flames aren't that hard to put out xD

RJ strat series 2000 bought when i was still in grade school 1995 from what i remembered. Mejo madami at parang bumili ako bagong guitar sa nagastos ko pero sulit naman for reviving my first guitar anyway i dont need another guitar kasi 5 na gitara ko.

I got this guitar from a trade to try the floating bridge aswell as floating trems are so cool para sakin :mrgreen:. Eh di katagalan ayaw ko na dahil mas trip ko mga fixed bridges kasi mas nasasarapan ako sa sustain :-D.

He smoothened the edges, repainted it to black and removed ung pagkadikit ng mga pickup up sa pickguard. Siraulo kasi si Mang Doro hahaha. ginamitan ng mighty bond dahil siguru nawala nya ung mga pickup screws. hahaha
Alam ko si Mang Rey marunong gumawa kaso wala pa siyang pickguard material for now i think. Kasi nagpapareserve na din ako sakanya if ever na magkaroon siya ng black.
