Share ko lang po. Here's my Fender Frankenstrat:

Body: '62 RI Fender Stratocaster MIJ "ni-relic"
Neck and Tuners: Natural Relic JV '54 RI Fender Stratocaster MIJ w/ Kluson Type Machines
PUPS: Custom Shop Fat 50s SSS
Saddles and Block: US Fender Strat Stamped, MIJ Steel Gotoh Bridge Block
PLASTIC PARTS: Relic US Fender and Knobs and covers

basswood ang body ba?

^ It's a problem for me, bro. Jon (elegee) told me that it's basswood. As far as I know, MIJ RIs are alder. So, I have no clue what it is except for the grains. But then, maybe Jon is right.

definitely basswood, may mga linya ang grain pattern ng alder eh, makikita rin sya kahit sa malayo. nice relic

Thanks, bro. I love it too but I just wish my guitar playing skills are the ones who made the maple fretboard relic looking.

There are MIJs that are basswood

if its in the 20+ thousand brand new, there is a big possibility that it is basswood. But if its in the 30+ above... alder or ash na yun.

My Epiphone Les Paul Standard Ebony!

From boring...

to

SCREAMING!!!

I installed a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck position and a Duncan Distortion in the bridge position and installed black top hat knobs. I replaced all the cream plastic parts including the pickguard with black.

I will replace the stock tuners to locking tuners soon...
