Update to my shared phaser preset. This time, I got the chance to compare directly with an MXR Phase 95 and came up with the following setting:

EVH Eruption - Phaser:
*Rate - 3
*Color - inv 8
*Level - 100

Description: Emulation of Van Halen's iconic phasing sound used in songs like Atomic Punk and Eruption. Ideal placement is usually before any overdrive, distortion, or amp simulation block. Adjust flanging speed to taste, or leave as-is for classic slow swoosh.

Does the power jack input of G9.2tt and G7.1ut the same as Line 6 modelers. M9 and M13 (2.5mm)?

or like is it the same as those of Boss GT6 or GT8 (3.5mm)?

if you're saying kukuha ka ng G3X, pero may papalabas na G3Xn, miho, mas sulit ang G3X kesa G3Xn. deal breaker sakin yung pagtanggal ng XLR out. laking tulong nun sa live situations na walang maayos na amp.

Di ko na napigilan sarili ko haha. I just got my G3X kahapon ng naka sale price sa JB. The reason i wanted the new G3Xn kasi may feature sila na pwede mag download ng effects. Pero may nabasa ako na review ng G5n hindi daw maganda yung app and parang change lang ng patch name magagawa dun. Also, sobrang dami na pala ng effects ng G3X kaya feeling ko di ko na kailangan nun.

Sorry paps hehe. ang question ko was okay pa ba kumuha ng g3x kahit may palabas na bago na g3xn. Pero okay na ko sa g3x, di ko na napigilan sarili ko kahapon, bumili na ko sa jb haha.

si G3/G3X naman naglalabas din ng mga firmware upgrades para magdagdag ng effects. eitherway, okay na yung laman ng G3/G3X. all the other stuff, you need an MS70CDR for it na.

ANG XLR/DI out ay gumagamit ng balanced signal. ibig sabihin, PA/MIXER Friendly na yung signal. pag nakaranas kang tumgtog sa isang venue na busted ang amp at no choice ka na, pwedeng gamitin mo yung XLR out, derecho ka na sa mixer. iwas sakit ng ulo. pag line level kasi ang ifefeed mo sa mixer, more often than not, masyadong mainit ang signal (nagkakanatural distortion, masyadong malakas, nagpepeak, etc.) or mas hasel, hindi comportable ang inhouse technician na magkabit ng Line Input galing sa gitara derecho sa mixer. with the XLR out option, may peace of mind ka na kahit PA lang ang gumagana sa venue, makakatugtog ka ng ayos.

make sure na may isa kang patch na may amp and cab sim para swabeng swabe!

depende sa panlasa paps. ako kasi, dulong dulo lagi ang amp sim. as in after the reverbs and delays pa. may iba naman, after dirt, amp sim na agad, tapos after nun yung mga modulation and verb/delay.

pero definitely after the dirt pedals paps. dpeende na sayo kung huling huli or sa gitna ng modulations and delays.


kung mga timpla ang hanap mo paps, back read ka ditto sa thread na to. daming post si LOLWAT na mga nice sounding patches.

kung sa audio interface na iba (i.e. FASTTRACK) may naririnig ka paring buzz, either gitara mo or cables mo ang ang may problema kaya may buzz.

natry mo na pindutin yung ground lift switch sa likod? try mo ulit via xlr tapos paglaruan mo yung switch for ground.

^For what its worth, try mo wag magpaa, wear tsinelas or have something between your feet and the floor. hahaha, may amp kasi ako dati na pag nakapaa lang ako maingay!
