just got the Full Bundle pack for firmware 2.62.. ok naman para sa akin yung 5150, Shiva, JC-120, variac'd plexi and addl. Line6 amp sims.. naisip ko cge na nga, may 30-day money back naman kung hindi sulit

I still cant find a decent tone for the acoustic sim though.. parang may nabasa ako na designed ito to be used with the Acoustic model in the Variax.

havent spent that much time pa for the bass amps

anyone else bit the bullet yet and care to share your experience with the new model packs?

It doesn't have any acoustic simulator effect.

Ano po ba ang magandang amplifier na kasama? Kailangan ba na maganda talaga yung amp? Or sayang lang ang pera kung bibili ako ng magandang amplifier tapos idadaan ko lang din sa multi-fx?

Hi bro. Talagang mas ok kung maganda ang amp, lalo na pag dun manggagaling yung drive/gain stage. Kung gagamitan mo ng HD500x, make sure na may FX Loop ung amp mo para makuha sa 4-cable method ung tunog mo.

For me na walang disenteng amp at diretso sa mix lagi, ok naman ung mga HD Amp Models sa HD500x. Basta need mo lang mag-tweek.

newbie question lang po mga sirs. Kakakuha ko lang po nung pod hd500.San nyo po sinasaksak yung pod hd 500 niyo? may (L) at (R)output sya eh. Sa amp ko po siya isasaksak. Thanks.

What amp do you have? I suggest you search for 4 cable method to give you a lot of options..

Here are some examples on how u can connect ur pod..

amp's input - change the output of the pod to combo or stack front.. This is used if your amp doesnt have fx return or power amp in. All simulations from the pod is going to the front of ur amp. Using the combo or stack front tells the pod to slightly use an eq to compensate the tone coming out from it. So that it wont sound weird..

Amp's power amp in or fx return - set the output of the pod to combo or stack power amp.. This is used if ur amp has fx return or power amp in. You will now have the option to use the pre-amp sims of the pod and the power amp section of your amp. Bypassing the preamp section of your amp. On this connection you can use full amp sims or preamp sims of the pod.. Use ur ears which sounds better...

Into a powered speaker or monitor or direct to mixer - use the ouput studio direct. You can utilize the full amp sims of the pod.. Full am sims means u are using the preamp and power amp simulations of the pod.

Use the left output from the pod it sums up to mono.. And please I advise that you search a lot in terms of connections and try it out urself too. Listen to it and if it sounds good to your ears then go for it. Tone is subjective..

Pod HD series is a powerful amp sim, multiFX unit. So I strongly recommend na FRFR speakers ang gamitin.
