what are u guys' schedules. o kaya intervals of building o kaya losing. pag gusto mag build ng muscle kelangan tumaba ng konti, diba. tapos pag nabuild na at medyo nagiging gorilla, kelangan ulit mag trim ng fat, tapos build ulit. ganon ba kayo? one week of building? one month? or just 3 days? ano ung pinaka efficient at safe and smooth for proper recovery and over-all health

I think you have an inaccurate notion on how to get fit. I suggest, consult a nutritionist and a trainer. They can asses how you are.

that program of yours is quite interesting, mukhang effective nga yan, try ko nga magpalit after a month, hehehehe, have you tried to use nitrotech and celltech? mukhang magiging magastos ako sa whey, balak ko gawing 4-5x a day yung whey, kasi ang recommended nya 1g per lb of bodyweight di ba?

hindi kaya magshrink ang kidneys natin nito? hehehehe

i do my cardio every visit to the gym, before and after my workout, have to lose my beerbelly, hehehe, i have to lose my body fats a little bit, my body fat is 24%, masyadong mataas, i'll lose those unwanted fats, lose weight, and then gain weight but this time, pure muscle, not fats. hopefully.

I think that's unhealthy. You can eat, but not get fat. Its up to you. Try your routine and see what happens. :-D

The key word here is 'LEAN'

@panterica - kaya nga ginamit nila yung word na 'recommended'. It doesn't mean you should do it :-D

yan din nararamdaman ko after 30 mins of drinking whey protein, hehehehe, i usually drink 1 serving post workout, now i also drink pre workout, pansin ko pag nagpawis ako, butil butil talaga hehehehe. btw, vitamins ko animal pak, pero every other day lang, kasi every other day centrum ang vitamins ko eh. ang hirap kasi lunukin nung 11 tablets ng animal pak eh.

soundslikebryan: yes, sorry i know now what u mean. u dont have to gain fat to build muscle. its in proper eating. i guess nangyayari sakin, di ako regular nag woworkout. may mga seasons lang ako na trip ko mag get bitching on getting fit, tapos tigil ng matagal. pero hirap i-guage ano ung tamang amount of calories na kelangan ko, so i just end up eating more in general kapag nag weiweights, kase tamad magisip. mali nga eh. bad planning. kelangan mas scientific.

ung regarding sa cycles pala, i remember now, galing pala sa webpage ng bodybuilding competitions naman. ung kasama talaga ung dieting to very low unnatural bodyfat levels, ganon pala ung routine nila, naconfuse ako.

ok read the label - "RECOMMENDED DOSAGE" 1 gram per Kg of body weight.

The word Recommended alone should tick you off. Rekomendado lang, not ideal.

i think its lbs bro, not kg, and i think it is only recommended for serious athletes and para dun sa mga sumasali sa contests.

i agree with this, yan din sabi sa kin ng instructor ko, he told me to drink whey in the morning and take my amino before i work out, or kung gusto ko daw ng 2 scoops, 1 scoop in the morning, amino before workout and 1 scoop before i sleep. tama ba bryan? or sobra na? i take 4 caps of amino 6000 before i workout, i don't take the recommended intake of 10 caps (5 before and 5 after) kasi mahal ang per bottle ng amino 6000 at parang sobra sobra naman ata yun para sa kin.

besides whey and egg, ano ang may pinakamataas na protein count?

Yung Whey po yung per kg of body weight, yung halo-halong proteins po ang per lb of body weight, and kung hindi po ako nagkakamali lean body mass po ata yun, parang per lb or Kg of weight minus fat..

hehehee...ganda ng inputs ng mga andito ah...sayang tumigil na kasi ako mag gym 2 years na...sa bahay na lang ako nagbubuhat...bumili ako 2 dumbells, yung replaceable yung plates...tapos magpapagawa ako ng multi-angle bench para magawa ko yung iba ibang workouts na ginagawa ko dati...sa ngayon puro biceps tsaka triceps muna ang buhat ko kasi naiwan na sya ng laki ng tyan ko hahahaa

Sir bryan actually na-try ko na yang routine na yan, normal na lamon, more on proteins and whey supplement (wala po akong creatine)  :-D nag add ng 1.5 inch yung arms ko (hindi siya cut pero halos walang ma pinch na taba or balat na lang siguro yun) and naging evident yung outlines sa chest ko particularly sa upper, pero here's the consequence: tumaba yung tiyan and lower back ko  :-( although sinasabayan ko siya noon ng light cardio kulang pa rin. Ngayun more cardio na ulit ako, jump rope and stationary bike, pero di ako maka-jog kasi mainit ang araw pag tanghali (tanghali magising) at walang treadmill sa gym na kaya ako (hardcore gym na surplus ang equipments  :-D). Hopefully pag nadistino na ako sa manila sa pasukan makahanap ng gym na may magandang treadmill.

Hayy goal ko po talaga kasi around 220 to 240lbs @ 5'9" na muscular. Ngayon nasa 220lbs ako around 18% body fat tapos puro pa sa tiyan and likod. Layo ko pa sa goal ko..

Anyway sir bryan, ganda ng tips sa suplement, try ko yan!  :-D

lean beef, turkey (lean din), cottage cheese, beef jerky. - yang mga yan. I learned to enjoy eating.

@pizarro - 240lbs and target mo @ 5'9'? wow, you're going to be bulky. I'm 5'8" and some change, and I'm about 190. I look stocky. Target ko by year end is to be 160, lean 10% body fat and a 17 inch arm, hehe.

i found the book. andaming workout routines. I need to scan it, and post it here. Its good.

Anyway just found out na medyo mababa ang blood sugar ko (70 is low and high levels starts at 130, I'm at 86) para sa weightlifting activities ko, I may need to revise my diet. Yung leg session ko kasi yesterday di ko na nasundan ng abs, sobrang di na ako maka angat sa pagod. Another problem of mine is, di ako maka rely sa caffeine dahil bawal sa tiyan ko due to gastritis.

^^ regarding this, suggestions po sa pwede ko pang pagkuhanan ng energy besides caffeine (or do i need to bump up my carb/sat.fat intake)...  :-D

ginagawa ko kase on cycles, kase masmabilis lumaki muscles kapag eating more calories, but even if its in complex carbs, u still get fat becoz it turns into fat, so naturally the most efficient way to get bigger muscles is to eat more carbs also. (kahit lean tuna, egg or non-fat proteins), pag over-protein naman masama sa kidneys. kelangan ibalance ng carbs din, diba? so example, in 2 weeks or 3 weeks time if i concentrate on bulking up muscle, i will gain some fat, pero ang hirap kung sakto hindi nag-gain, unless sobrang OC ako sa calculations ng kinakain ko ng carbs. i guess mas mahirap sa ibang tao, kaya ganon... ako palagi nangyayari tumataba ako, dahil sa carbs.

aside sa egg and whey, i think medyo mataas din ung grade nya ng protein. pero mahilig ako sa century tuna (chunks in water o kaya solid in water). di lang over. nakaka constipate din minsan. tsaka ung over-mercury toxic din pag sobra. pero masarap to ihalo sa soups, kahit ung instant arroz caldo

hehe, pareho lang tayo, blood sugar ko is 73.

I don't like sweets kasi. Try to eat slow burning carbs. Like Oatmeal (well I can't eat it, it gives me heartburn so bad - I have GERD btw - Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease). My blood pressure is high as well. I know why, dahil sa taas ng testosterone levels ko.

carbs I can live without. It makes me an angry little man all the time but I can compensate by taking 5-HTP (5 Hydroxytriptophan). It gives you a spike of Serotonin, which is the enzyme that carbs gives you (the feel good enzyme). That's why cakes are so tempting (for some people).

up natin to, kasi natatabunan na ng mga posts na kung anu ano lang. pansin ko lang dito, basta tungkol sa health, walang pakialam ang karamihan. i started a thread 'Be Healthy and Fit'. ang konti ng replies. no interest. i always thought na being healthy and strong makes you play longer, perform better and live longer. i guess they all want to join Janis, Kurt and Jimi.

anyway, here's my thoughts on the Megamass 4000. you take it, you gain weight. unless you're a serious bodybuilder, that doesn't rely on 'food' or any intake and you pump iron all day long, go for it. otherwise, you're a heart attack waiting to happen. its a mass gainer. you're taking in a lot of protein. if you don't lift, you don't utilize the proteins, you're heart cannot process that much intake.

don't go crazy on supplements either, unless you have a trainer, a nutritionist and a doctor handy.

@panterica, natanong mo nga pala kung anong supplements and tine-take ko. i already posted that here, just read back.

my target is to be @155 lean, mean, machine by year end.

I'm doing something right now, and hindi pa masyadon imminent yung result. Wait 4 more days and I'll tell you all about it.

today will be my first day taking ON 100% Whey Gold Standard, kakaubos lang nung EAS ko yesterday. Within this 1 month period, 16 sessions sa gym, my weight hasn't change, pero i gained some muscles, i guess nabawasan na yung excess fats ko, tama ba ko bryan? napalitan na yung program ko, sabi kasi ng trainer ko, pwede na ako mag 2 musclegroup per session since hindi na daw ako beginner (yeeeyyy!!!) hehehe, btw, i noticed a big change in my biceps.

sige i'll check out the previous pages bryan, tignan ko supplements mo, mukhang may ineexperiment ka ah, lets see the results, hehehehe.

btw, i asked someone from bodybuilding.com kung effective yung anator, he said you will really notice the gain after about 3 canisters of anator p70, hindi daw makikita agad sa isang canister lang, kaya kasama to dun sa padala ko sa yo, first shipment that came to you was 1 anator p70, 1 megamass 4000, 1 nitro-tech, 2 amino 6000's. the last 2 canisters of anator p70 will be delivered in a week bro. that would be all. hindi ko iinumin ng sabay-sabay yan bro, hehehehe, kelangan lang magstock, mahal dito eh, lalo na muscletech products.

ako siguro kahit mga 160 or 170 lean. pwede na sa kin.

hindi ba masama yung megamass 4000? sobrang taas ng calories, 4000 (if added with 6 cups of milk). hehehehe.

up natin to, kasi natatabunan na ng mga posts na kung anu ano lang. pansin ko lang dito, basta tungkol sa health, walang pakialam ang karamihan. i started a thread 'Be Healthy and Fit'. ang konti ng replies. no interest. i always thought na being healthy and strong makes you play longer, perform better and live longer. i guess they all want to join Janis, Kurt and Jimi.
