JBL PRX 535
  • 650 watts continuous
  • 46 Hz - 20 kHz ±3 dB
  • 134 dB max SPL peak
  • 90° horizontal x 50° vertical

Outdoor Performance Specifications and Suggested Venue Application for One Pair

Total System Power = 1300 watts
Maximum SPL at Full Power at 1 meter = 137 decibels
Distance away on-axis where we would achieve 100 decibels SPL = 22.72 meters
Estimated coverage of both sides = 567.72 square meters
Estimated venue capacity = 681 seats

I have purposely been very conservative in estimating how many people can be covered by this system when they are operated -10 dB below continuous rated power. I believe any good knowledgeable sound person can obtain excellent results providing live sound reinforcement for the demands of a rock band.

Once again, I tended to be conservative in my estimations as far as coverage capacity. I allowed 9 square feet for each person, but did not allow for a dance floor.

I hope that some of you find this information helpful.
