unang una,,madaming nakikinabang sa mga DIY pedals na gawa ni mark at ng iba pang DIYers dito (you don't need to bash them theyre helping us nga eh)
pangalawa,,daming natutuwa sa gawa ni mark at sa ibang nag DDIY dito i have my favorites din you know
pangatlo,,ayaw ba natin maging proud na may mga Pinoy na gumagawa ng mga DIY/CLONES/CHUVA or kung anu pang gustu niyong itawag sa mg pedal na yan...

but
markv, i hope you are not using madbean's layout.
'cause that's not meant for mass production.
 

looking into the electronics side, even on music side, it's not good to use other's work, then distribute it commercially.

kahit na may different mods si sir mark V, the PCB still looks the same as the said MADBEANS CB
ok lang naman yun sa atin di ba kase tayong mga filipino musicians din naman and nagbenefit sa magandang tunog ng shreadhead
the problem is, kumalat na sa international forum yung similarity ng dalawa
if copyrighted yung PCB medyo magkakaproblema si sir mark (based sa looks similar nga)
i suggest to change the PCB na lang as plugz suggested tutal may ibang mod pa si sir mark V na nakatago sa ilalim
hope everything works fine and that no legal problems will erupt from this

dude i think it's not about crab mentality. i think the brouhaha over at FSB was more about the use of the pcb than it being a clone of crunchbox. actually cloning is essential and there is no law that prevents cloners from spitting copies since circuits cannot be patented.

i think papa mark will benefit greatly if he could ask someone to make a pcb of the SH for him. my 2cents.

btw, who is the FSB threadstarter?

o easy lang faps..question diba yung ibang mga PCB eh may mga same exact PCB na pinagcopyhan? like yung RAT,,daming gumagawa nun same layout same caps,resistors etc,,,etc,,,etc,,,used? so it means its a clone right? pero for someone to mod it,,,diba parang iba nayun,,like for keeley mods pedal same DS1 cuircuitry same PCB layout and all bat wlang nagrerklamo while here sa shredhead eh parang ang daming angal and all...hindi ba kayo satisfied and such? well im just sayin ok no pun intended here braihhhhhhder

guys bottom line is kung gagamit tayo ng pag aari ng iba, eh humingi muna ng permiso lalo na kung ganyang commercial use, 50+ units sold right? now the pedal CB or SH are both good pedals, modded underneath or not, the layout belongs to someone else who clearly stated its not intended for what mark has used it for.

plugzz offered the best option for mark.

now para dun sa sasabihing pinoy binabasag ang pinoy, well mali ka jan. we filipinos would look worse kung ang "gumamit" (excuse the term) eh pinrotektahan natin... wouldn't you agree?

Actually, ito ang nasa mind ko kaya ako kampi kay Mark. Kasi modded siya at aminado naman na modded.

Ang hindi ako agree sa clones. Kawawa yung nag-design ng pedal mismo. Just my opinion.

ang tanong is ang CB bay pagaari nino? pagaari ba to talaga ng madbeans? or may pinagclonan din ito? kasi for sure may pinagclonan ito, diyan eh sure aku, clone ng clone ng clone ng clone ng clone ng clone :p

actually.. si keeley.. binibii muna niya yung DS-1 bago niya imod.. he doesn't clone it.. bibili muna siya ng DS-1 then modifies some parts and components sa loob.. so sa madaling salita, hindi apektado ang sales ng boss or anything..

i dunno bout the shredhead.. although yeah, clone siya ng crunchbox.. sana man lang binago yung ciruit design or layout (i'm basing this from the pics shown earlier).. para naman may justification or perhaps a sense of ownership..  

i'm not bashing anything nor anyone here.. i'm just saying my side.. been reading the thread kanina pa..
